This is a mechanized infantry flavor unit for the Scandinavian civilization. I haven't noticed the problems I normally have with my units. There's no problem with the sounds this time! :D

Utahjazz, could you create Patria AMV 8x8 fighting vehicle for Polish civ? Polish Army selected it at December 2002 and about 300 will be buyed.

Sweet unit, thanks for the hard work. The death animation is great with the turret getting knocked off!

Well, either you really like this unit, or you're having some computer issues. I've seen the double post here and there, but never did I think I would be around long enough for the quadruple post. ;)

Nah, I doubt it. I looked at it and it doesn't impress me very much. It looks like a Rooikat with a Hitfist turret on the top of it. In fact, one of the websites I browsed through said that it uses, at least some versions use, a Hitfist turret. Are there any other modern units, which Poland uses, that you would like to see created?

Right now, I'm trying to think my way through an ancient/medieval weapon, which I will not name because I don't know if I can make it or not, but I'll probably give it a shot--yes, another rhyme.

My guess is a siege tower

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner . . . I'm going to try, but I can't promise anything. I found some pictures of models and what-not on-line, but I'm probably going to be creative, making my own, personally designed siege tower.

Thank you for answer:) Polish AMV will be used with DELCO 30mm turret and probably as 120mm twin-barelled mortar. Have you seen it?:) As Artillery unit it will be great! Looks like Harkonnen Devastator from Dune 2000:) The AMOS twin mortar system has a direct fire capability and a digital, computerised fire control system, which can fire a variety of mortar bombs including the Strix "smart" mortar, developed by Bofors Missiles and Saab Dynamics. The top-attack Strix has a nose-mounted imaging infrared seeker for terminal guidance. Strix has a range of 5000 m. Other platforms for which the application of AMOS is planned include the CV90, BMP-3, stretched M113, Piranha III and the Hydrema 910.The double-barrel concept of AMOS permits a high rate of fire, while the recoiling mechanism imparts low chassis loads to ensure that both wheeled and tracked vehicles may be used. Likewise, the turret mounting and recoil system permits full 360¡ traverse without limitations.
Modern Polish units? Hmmm....Polish army uses mainly ex-Soviet vehicles, much of them are already created for Civ3:( But, maybe you can create Polish MBT, based on T-72, known as PT-91 ?
Yiu can read about it here:
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/europe/pt-91.htm
PT-91 tank was also selected by Malaysia for two tank brigades.

The Harkonnen Devastator from Dune 2000? Hey, I remember the Devastator from "Dune 2." The first Real Time Strategy game I ever played. It was awesome for its time. That was the first computer game I became addicted to!

Hmm . . . I kind of like that picture you posted. Is that the Petria AMV with the AMOS twin mortar system? That looks a lot like the Finnish XA-200, which I though about making; it can also be fitted with the AMOS turret. Maybe, I will make the Petria with the AMOS turret. How does the turret fire? Do both barrels fire at the same time, or do they fire one at a time?

By the way, I made a model for the medieval siege tower, but Rhino froze before I saved it. I was almost done too. I was just finishing the ram-head on the battering ram part. :( So, I might remake that before I do anything else. I'm not sure.

It is :D

It can fire both and single of course. And it fires with the barrels in a +85 degree angle, it can fire several shells in a row, computer calculates flight time and angles so all the shells lands on target at the same time.

And they are moving in a group of 2 or 4 vehicles

Picture is taken from here:
http://www.army-technology.com/contractors/armoured/patria_vehicles2/patria_vehicles21.html
and is described as AMV 8x8 with AMOS system. Talking about way of firing, AMOS guns can fire simultaneously - rate of firing is 26 rounds/minute, and in MRSI role - 14 rounds/min. If you are not sure, take a look here:
