UA: Center of the World: Goldenages last 30% longer and you gain +1 Culture each turn
UU: Caraphract: More strengh than the Knight, no city penalty
UB: Cathedral: more culture then Monastery, dos'nt require Inscincse or wine

UU: Numedian Mercenary: Begins with Shock 1 and Drill 1
UB: Cothon: produces ships 35% faster

More detail about what each civ does would be nice. ;)

I know it's in the File Entry, but if this is supposed to be the main thread, this is where discussion would take place.


On topic: Civs look interesting. Bit iffy on Byzantium, as that UA is pretty much the Babylonian one, but otherwise they look good. ;)

UU: Swiss Mercenary: has a combat bonus in foreign lands
UB: Dike: More production than the windmill and an extra slot for an engineer
 
Does this mod have any new defensive structures (new to Civ IV BTS)? Examples like air defense tower, airbase or airfield.

UU: Teutonic Knight, can Attack Multiple Times per turn
UB Rathuas, Produces more culture and has a slot for an artist
UA: Papal Favor (Might need a different name?) -35% Experence needed for unit promotions, recive a Great General when discovering Chivalry
 
I've tweaked the mod even further, making the following changes:

  • While this mod is active, the following civs become unplayable: Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Rome. (All four would have occupied the same territory as the HRE; this is not only historically accurate, but helpful to players who'd be confused by two Utrechts or Romes on the same map.)
  • Instead of the Rathaus, the HRE gains two unique buildings. The Schloss (taken from William Howard's mod) replaces the generic Castle; and the Church (taken from the Papal States mod) replaces the Temple. This may look overpowered at first, but I can always lower bonuses in a new release!)

Of course, I gave all the original authors/coders credit in the modinfo file. Please let me know if my version works--and if it does, please tell me how your game went! :D
