Desperately need a savegame editor

Is there a savegame editor that could be used to change the victory conditions on a saved game?

I have spent several days on a game just to find out that the game was ruined and all time wasted due to that I had the darn Elimination option selected when starting the game.

I have looked around here for a savegame editor. There is a lot of stuff but I have not found anything that I believe would work on a standard game.

Any help to find a suitable editor would be appriciated. Playing a civ3 game is a small project and I hate not to be able to conclude the game.

I tried it, and it worked. I was a bit worried since I use 64b Windows 7.

The only problem I encountered was that I coudn't save the files from the editor to where the save files normally are (under Program files, it's a Vista/W7 issue). You need to save the file somewhere else and copy it to the save files location manually.
