RFC: Roman Colonial Empire

Playing as the Romans I will attempt to achive the following:
1: Gain the Conquerer Event
2. Colonize Florida, The Yucatan Peninsula, and Carribean by 1600, and keep them until the US spawn
3. Control Madagascar in 1800
4. Control India and Khmer (as vasals or territory) in 1850 and 1900
5. Build the first city in Australia.

Only thought so far: My stability is going to suck

sounds great will watch and Z eternal empire is a game MORE EPIC created so he always does this or congratulates a a person for a story being started. Be expecting him....

Mayan Colonial challenge is harder, but good luck.

Then stay away from bureaucracy and representation since you'll expand a lot.

First update!

Just to the north of the western-most Greek city, an ancient migratory people decided to settle down. They were the Romans. From those humble beginins, they would ultimately found one of the greatest colonial empires.

To begin, they were smaller, less powerful and less advanced than most of their neighbours. But before long, that was changining. Catching up and passing each of their neigbours in turn, before long Rome dominated the Mediteranean.

The largest temple in the world, that to the Roman God of Artemis, was built in a Roman city.

As were the bizarre statues known as the Moai statues. No one knows what their purpose was, but speculations abound.

The Kingdom of Rome was founded, controlling all of the Roman Empire's territory. Most intresting about the kingdom is that it would let men or women lead, merely depending on who was born first.

Rome quickly grew from it's humble beginings, ultimately reaching 500 000 people.

The Romans faced constant barbarian invasions, but they never gave up hope. They would keep going even in the face of endless struggle.

Before long, there were over a million Romans.

Living in the most powerful country to exist outside of China.

Great! After construction, compass, and optics beeline for astronomy.

Both Carthage and Greece were eager to trade with the Roman Kingdom, hoping it would prove more open the the Empire had. It didn't. Each time, it refused their trades.

Contiuing to grow, Rome quickly found itself with over two million people.

Greece, during a barbarian invasion, attempted to force the Roman Kingdom into giving up one of the secrets of its technology. As before, Rome stood strong and refused.

Many in the Kingdom found themselves at odds with each other over religion (Judaism and Christianity). The Kingdom had a sensible solution: neither would receive state support, and both would be permitted.

With 5 million people in the Kingdom, Rome was a power to be reckoned with. Controlling all of Italia, they tried to sit out of conflicts.

Repeated invasions lead to a crazy idea to build a giant wall around Roman territory to keep the barbarians out.

Incredibly, it worked. From that point on, the barbarians never bothered Rome again.

I hope he recreates the real roman empire. I did that once, and destroyed all those upstart European states......

Don't plan on it, but I didn't plan on some of the things I've done so far either.

If you are going for a colonial empire you should settle or take over citys in china and japan.
