It should be disclaimered that this is more or less my first playthrough of C2C and I really have no idea what the heck I'm doing.

Which, I think, is part of the fun.

Well a few things struck me watching this:

1) How far we've come even since V14 ;-) (AI offering stupid tech for gold trades for example)

2) How much C2C needs a slow game speed - it's just crazy on normal

BTW, I laughed sooo hard when someone beat you to the Piazza on the turn you rushed it ;-) Really though, that does suck, but what happens when multiple players complete on the same turn is that the one that moves first gets it - the rush (on the previous turn) only stores enough hammers to complete the build the next turn, so a player moving before you after the rush can still get it first. Very unlucky though (chortle)

Yay! You posted here! Yeah you videos are great. Its too bad the 3rd one was so out of sync with the sound. However your reactions really have given me a better perspective on what to improve. As a modder I know what to do, you so called "mistakes" really help us see what needs to be improved.

Some things I cringed at ...

- Not using the Mammoth for the Mammoth Herd, since that would have unlocked the War Mammoth to show off.

- The old ex-UBs like the Ho Trail now are harder to get and not so random.

- While you knew about the ship wright dependency chain there were lots more you could have unlocked if you had just built some of the other not so impressive buildings.

- Your game speed was so fast, it was crazy with production.

- What's wrong with the name "Caveman to Cosmos"?

- And finally how old your version was. It was really like watching a whole other game, since that is a few versions ago.

I know you have other games to You Tube but still you should play the new C2C v16, even if its for your own enjoyment without recording. I am sure you will see a great improvement in gameplay. Though we still need to fix the uber gold. :lol:

Seeing all those Triremes milling aimlessly about was so funny (fixed the AI bug that caused useless spamming of ships in late V15 I think). BTW latest version is probably about twice as fast (turn times) as the one you're running.
