Well peoples what do you rate more C&C Series or The Warcraft Series?

StarCraft is my fav, but if I have to pick between War and C&C I'd have to go with Warcraft. I never did like the C&C series and the newest game was a step back.

I like WWII also.

About C&C my opinion complies with Pale's...

Starcraft really kicks both masses, but if I have to choose, C&C.

Like everbody else I like Startcraft the best. I've only played C&C for N64 so I am definately going with Warcraft. I haven't played it in a while, now that I can finally use CDs again I probably won't play it for a while longer. I also like AOEI, but I don;t really like II

Blizzards RTS >>>>>> Westwoods RTS

No contest.

Its like comparing Sid Meier's civ with Activisions CTP.
Westwood is all about graphics.

I like C&C the best!
then WarCraft
but I never really got in to starcraft!

I like C&C and Red alert

Are you talking to me?

Mmm, shall people kill me if I said I never played C&C series. Never. I'm only Blizzard addicted. I hate the C&C interface. I prefer starcraft and warcraft style. Personal tastes of course but IMO it's more practical.
Oh and must admit that I pplayed Dune 2/2000 because it was of course a legend, the 1st RTS ever made. Then all the Westwood following games disappointed me too much and then I turned to a small company named blizzard, that had (in 1994) just released Blackthorne and Warcraft... No comment, guess the rest.

Well I have only played Command and conquer series. I would have to say Red Alert was my favourite. It was the first one I completing and the final cutscene for the Soviets is soo funny...all that bad acting...*get shot, must climb onto table* *I am the future...*

Yes, Dune II was the de facto original; the genre has hardly improved since. I “discovered” it a week earlier, and for some time I was hooked. In hindsight, it has a god-awful unintuitive interface: only one unit can be moved at a time, there are no "one-click” unit movement cutoffs (you have to order it to move, first) and units often engage in friendly-fire. In addition, you were forced to steadfastly place either 1x1 or 2x2 concrete blocks for your structures. But all of the elements of a good RTS are there: structure routines open to strategy, unit transit adjustable, adequate AI, good plot based on the Frank Herbert novels, three-way balance, etc.

One complaint, though: the music, esp. during combat…

Anyway, I've been playing solely as House Ordos, and am currently on a demented campaign against the Harkonnen: the first level where the spaceport becomes available. Any ideas? I have dozens of units, exceeding the assinine 25 unit limit, but against two self-sufficient bases...

It depends.
Warcraf I & II are better Multiplayer games than any C&C.
But when it comes to single play it's C&C without a second thought. Videos, Nice story (as far as you could expect from a strategy game), good mission design (indoor/outdoor/rescue/conquer/with&without timelimit etc).
And I'm pretty sure that Warcraft 3 will be the new multiplayer RTS game number 1 but singleplayer it won't be as good as Red Alert 2(even less when the expansion is good).
