Liam Fox, the Defence Secretary, has resigned over his links to his self-styled 'adviser' Adam Werritty. Here is the full text of his resignation letter to Prime Minister David Cameron.

Mr Werritty, the best man and self-styled adviser to Dr Fox, will be re-questioned by Cabinet Office officials to try to discover whether he financially benefitted from his links to the minister.
Despite growing calls for his resignation, Dr Fox insisted today he's fully focused on his job as allegations continue to mount about his relationship with Mr Werritty
