Hey guys, welcome to my new IOT! This will be updated more often because I have used my Java skills to determine the outcome of battles. I'll be using EUIII as a basis to make the starting map, so I won't have to recruit anyone to make the map.

If you don't know, Epic IOT is unlike a traditional IOT, because you take control of an existing (at the time) country. In this case, it's 1488 (I had to give a FEW years of slack, so people could build enough infrastructure to discover that the world is round.) Anyway, sign up now!

The rules will be pretty much the same as Epic IOT, with a few changes. I'll post them on the actual thread, along with the map (IOT 7).

Will the new ruleset actually be balanced instead of lolindustrialpowerrussia?

That rule set when originally used for the Spirit of Man worked perfectly. I'll have you know.

That's because nations had unique traits and generally made sense for that game. Same for the SAR, which also had unique traits to make up for the lack of infracture (that makes sense) and the like. The ruleset breaks down for a WW1/Colonization IOT.

England.

Please make this balanced!!

@Sonoreal and Christos: It'll be balanced, big nations like Muscovy and the Ming will have a lower tech level.
@Mosher: Russia didn't exist, but you can take Muscovy.

Thanks god!!

Sure, I'll take Muscowy.

The next step will be to post a thread with actual rules and a map.
