CivCraft is CFC's minecraft server -- a minecraft server with Civilization inspired mechanics! Strike out on your own or work with others to build amazing, beautiful cities, grand road and railways, or deep mining systems. Explore a diverse world full of rich landscape and riches!

CivCraft has a number of features exclusive to this server, such as civilization based mechanics including a technology tree.

To gain the best experience please use easy to install client mod called SpoutCraft (so easy to use just run the custom launcher!). It does not touch your existing minecraft install so your existing worlds and mods are safe.

Download the launcher and double click (Note: not yet updated for 1.2. Please use vanilla client)

Kick and bans

/ban [player] <reason> (please provide a reason for bans so they are logged)

HawkEye
/hawk here -- simple search of all actions within 5 blocks
/hawk search r:[radius] p:[player name] a:[action] t:[time]
Search for changes based on these parameters. They are all optional but at least one needs to be present
Example: /hawk search r:5 p:croxis a:block-place t:5d2h1m
This will search for all block-place events by the player croxis in the past 5 days 2 hours and 1 minute in a 5 block radius
/hawk rollback r:[radius] p:[player name] a:[action] t:[time]
Same as search above DO NOT DO JUST A /hawk rollback without parameters!!!!!

Ticket response

• /check [# | page # | p # | held # | held #] - Checks an id or page.
• /complete [#] - alias: /done, completes a request
• /tp-id [#] - alias: /tpid, teleports to the request
• /reportrts [reload | ban | unban | reset] - Reload, reloads the plugin. Ban, bans a user from filing requests and unban, unbans a user from filing requests.
• /hold [#] - Puts a request on hold.
• /claim [#] - Claims the specified ticket.
• /unclaim [#] - Unclaims the specified ticket.
• /modlist - Shows a list of online staff members.
• /reopen [#] - Reopens the specified closed ticket.

Yeah, that's the look I was aiming for. I think some building edges can be replaced with dark wood (pine) or jungle wood (mahogany?).

Anyway, I'm going to be sending back my video card, so I'll be without a PC (save for the occasional use of a borrwed laptop).

My treehouse is built, but I can't use glass for the wide window space. Is this a glitch? However, someone has started building something right in front of my view, but oh well.

And a message to my neighbours: if you want to expand, fine, but not towards my treehouse. If you build anything on top of my treehouse, I'll destroy it or claim it as mine by building what I want on top.

I think you need glassworking.

That's what the terraced levels were to be for. Start another terraced level by Pelt's house (it goes down below the main level). There's also a staircase started next to the HQ that'll go behind it (it'll be kind of a tall building) and that's the 3rd tier which should wrap around to that hill on the other side. the tiers/terraces should be layered like an inverted pyramid, like this: (the . are empty spaces, and the - are walkways)

Anyway, my video card is going to be sent back, so I won't have my PC up for a few weeks, but I will use the family laptop (this Sunday is my grandmother's (and her great-granddaughter - they have the same birthday) birthday party, so I'll only be on for an hour or so).

I'm wondering what my big project for this world will be. I'll save my university idea for a stone city. Maybe a statue? Also, when we have the technology we need a monorail.

This may not be griefing and I may be overreacting, but urban density is not the answer for Lamanai.

We had problems like this in Lake Cosmo, and that was with 20 something people. 31 people in such a small place is gonna be cramped as hell.

Also, I plan to start Babylonia or Akkadia in the desert, once I get 250 dollars.

Inability to break blocks is due to civcraft. You need techs like mining to do stuff. Sounds tedious, but it combines micraft and civilization perfectly.

Concerning lag, I believe that the latest plugin initiated by croxis about 10 hours ago may be a result of this.

Furthermore, the additional tags next to our names when chatting is rather long: location in world (e.g. world [g], which is normal world because it stands for gargamel), nation, city, name.

Chieftess, when you are available, could you promote me to assistant status? I'll begin expanding the borders to the whole of the jungle immediately.

Good news, Pelt and I have melon seeds (well Andrew beat me there already) and pumpkin seeds. All we need is a clear space. Croxis' farm opposite >shudder< Starraptor's restaurant, although it is a pretty terrace farm, lacks space and is not very productive.

Otherwise, this server is progressing well and if anyone wants an interesting mining trip to an abandoned mine and a wide cavern/ravine next to it, contact me.

Please verify the server TPS by using the /lag command. it should be over 15 for a no lag experience. If you continue to have issues do about 30 pings to the server to verify the connection.
