Hello, everyone! I've decided to ditch Columbus and start this new IOT. This time, I have a map, so no complaining about that. :p Anyway, here's the map.

Spoiler :

This was borrowed from Here and Now.

Like my first IOT, you pick any nation on the map. You can fight other countries, but on turn 6, Zombies will invade, and you're seriously going to need to team up after that, but knowing you guys, that's probably not going to happen. :p

Rules:
Spoiler :
Alrighty... Lets start at the basics:
If you do all that bad internet stuff (Spamming, trolling, whatever) then you get penalized.
If you RP like a pro then you get bonuses.
If you break the forum rules the Mods will come and eat you.
If you don't work as a team then you are going to die... Sad but true.
If you powergame then you're doing it wrong
If you pretend to powergame then something is wrong
If you want to complain about it being unbalanced then you don't get the point of the game.

You start with the total number of territories you have times 2 in CP. (Tiny islands only give you 1 CP for every 5 you have.)

So, I bet that now you want to ask about claiming?
Well, there is none.
This is 2012. There isn't any unclaimed territory...

So what can you do?
You can fight!
There are 3 kinds of Land units that you can build:
Infantry- 1CP
Artillery- 2CP
Tank- 3CP

You can build each unit for the listed price with a limit by the total number of territories you have. The higher cost, the higher strength. When you go to war you can make a war plan detailing what you want your armies to do... Will you opt for a slow and steady approach or will you strike a blow deep into enemy territory? Anything goes!

Navy
You can build fleets! Fleets are comprised of several ships. Ships are relatively cheap to build but you can only make the same number of ships as you have coastal territories. They come in 4 catagories:
Crusier- 2CP
Destroyer- 4CP
Battleship- 6CP
Missile Sub- 6CP

Fleets can be used for 2 missions:
Patrol - A communal pool of ships that will fight Invasion Fleets
Invasion Fleets - Required to escort troops across seas - If you have a fleet then you can send any number of troops across the sea but if it is intercepted by a Patrol then you lose the troops. Missile Subs are special, and can carry up to 10 Nukes, but you can only use those Nukes to attack coastal territories.

New to ZombIOT: Planes!
Bomber: 2CP
Fighter: 2CP

Bombers can attack both land and sea units, but are defenseless against Fighters. Fighters can only attack other Fighters, so you need those to defend your Bombers.
Planes have the ability to fly over multiple territories held by the enemy, but that's useless unless you know where their armies are. Bombers also have the ability to carry Nukes...

There is only one Nuke in this game: the Nuke. They cost 50CP to build, but can almost completely wipe out an enemy army. Also, if a province is Nuked, it becomes a Colony for 3 turns.

Diplomacy:
You can get into alliances to fight each other and NPCs.
You can also bribe NPCs with CP to make them do things such as attack your enemies .
You can also seize an NPC which you gain all of their Territories. This costs 4 times the amount of Territories they control. You must have a land border with an NPC to Seize it. If one nation is influencing an NPC then it can only be seized by them unless they are outbid.

Infrastructure:
You can expend 10CP to build extra Infrastructure. Each infrastructure gives 2 extra CP.

Each fully integrated territory provides 1CP, and each colony provides 1CP for every 2 colonies you have. When you capture a territory, it becomes a Colony until it is held for 3 turns in a row, or its previous owner captures it.

Finally, new to the game: ZOMBIES! :mwaha:

After 5 turns are completed, Zombies will appear in a random group of weak countries, but rapidly spread. They will only have Infantry, but they will have so many of them that the Zombie Invasion will rapidly spread. Zombies are also slightly harder to kill, as they're already dead. Zombies are immune to radiation, so Nukes, though still damaging, will not affect nearly as many Zombies. The Zombies will be played by me.

I declare this dead :mischief: AND RAISED FROM THE DEAD AS A ZOMBIE IOT!!! ;)

USSR reporting.

Yeah, I guessed it would be Russia, but meh, USSR is much more Epic (right? ;))

You start with the total number of territories you have times 2 in CP. (Tiny islands only give you 1 CP for every 5 you have.)

You can expend 5CP to build extra Infrastructure. Each infrastructure gives one extra CP. You can only build one per turn for every 10 territories you control.

*sigh*

It's not this:
You can expend 5CP to build extra Infrastructure. Each infrastructure gives 3 extra CP.
It's this:
You can only build one per turn for every 10 territories you control.

I'll take Germany :P

A question, is NATO in-game, or did it mysteriously disappear? :P

What about culture etc?

Also, shouldn't all those russian and canadian provinces be fewer, but larger? :P

the problem with this ruleset is that large countries are massively OP considering you start with {2*territories} CP, gain 1 CP per territory for the rest of the game and can only build infrastructure once you have 10 territories

How do we know what's colonial and what is not? :P

Nope. Yet. At least, that's what I think :p

A lot of provinces divided by 2 is still a lot of provinces.

I join as China
