NESes have come a long way since my Scandinavian rebellion back when we knew, we knew (I still love ya Jason!), but I have not.
I am trying once more, a story NES.

Dark blue lines on the map indicate areas not passable by sea until Age of Sail. You may not cross the sea at all until Bronze Age. Barbarians under my control will spring up from the upper right until they are eradicated sometime in the Dark Ages.

You can make up your own nation, you start with a small army and tiny navy or tiny army and small navy, Cro-Magnon Education/Religion/Culture, and in the stone age. Say starting position and religion and whatnot. You can then issue 2 orders a turn, expanding counting as one.
Also pick 2 traits:
Militaristic: You nation gets a bonus in wars.
Scientific: You may discover new ages earlier.
Religious: You may convert outlying regions to your control if your religion is above Good and 2 levels above the other person.
Expansionist: Barbarians bother you less, you expand faster
Industrious: You can issue 3 orders a turn.
Commercial: Money is easily divertable, at the drop of a hat 2 levels from edu/cul/rel may be converted into 3 army sizes. You must be at war first, and this can only be done once every 3 turns.

You can build wonders. You can attempt espionage, PM deals, and backstabbing.

Once I have 5 players, update will come about 12 hours after that. I wil attempt to update about 3 times a week.

This post will get edited a lot as I answer questions and fix inaccuracies. I think that is all, now join!

Puglover, you tried to give 4 orders, and forgot to pick army and navy sizes, and you can have 2 traits.

Naervod, you can have 2 traits.

Nobody but puglover has given orders yet. Send them in, update is coming!

P.S. You can pick your own colors if you like, and name your continent.
Where a location was not given, I have started your capital on the middle of the continent.

Oh, and I added the islands. Sorry, I was up late when I started this NES. I think the whole idea was a late night hangover.

Ok, my other trait will be Religious.

ORDERS:
Upgrade army

Expand in all directions

Edited in. Thanks, naervod.
Updating in 6 hours... get those orders in! Remember, I said 12 hours from player 5.

You can't upgrade since you don't know any new ages. I hope you meant Increase Army Size.

Three hours left! Get those orders in!

There are still open slots if anyone wants to join. Not on continents 3 or 4 please ;)

Nation: Israel
Player: King David \erez87
Capital: Jerusalem (south 5, close to the sea, but not near)
Religion/Culture/Education: Cro-Magnon
Religion: Jewish
Army:Small
Navy:Tiny
Traits: Scientific/Indistius

ORDERS
1) Grow army
2) Grow navy
3) Grow Economy

Are Economy/Culture and education grow all togheter?!

No, only 2 orders a turn, since religion, culture and education are different.. I will just take the first 2 if players post more than that. Army movement does not count as an order. And there is no economy stat. You probably meant Religion.

Edit: *slaps self* :wallbash: Industrious nations get to issue 3 orders. Sorry!! :crazyeye: And all except naervod chose Industrious.

If anyone wants to start on the tip of 6, southeast 2 or northwest 1, they may. Please send in orders quickly, the first update is coming!

Orders: Expand to the west and south
Expand Navy

Traits are: Militaristic and Industrius

Erik: Dont worry about the lack of orders! Give the nes at least a day! lol.

Jason

Jason: First turn orders are normally supposed to be sent in at once. I think there was a thread on that a while ago. After all, do people need to see all the other orders before sending theirs? I hope not!
You are the vet, though so time limit extended. 6 hours from now should help.
Any special reason for you to change traits?

Edit: Response to post below
Yes, you did pick traits already, just scroll up to where you joined...
