Welcome to Vault 11, here you are selected to be spared the nuclear holocaust. Unfortunately, the administration at Vault Tec have not bothered to look at the applicants and some psychopaths have slipped through the applicants which poses a danger to other Vault Dwellers. The overseer was instructed to have the vault dwellers sacrifice themselves to eliminate the mafioso that has slipped through the administration of Vault Tec as well as conducting a social experiment on the vault dwellers on the dynamics of a mafoso game in a sealed environment. The Overseer stated that the vault doors will only open if all of the mafioso are eliminated.

This Mafia game is loosely based on Vault 11 of Fallout: New Vegas fame. The mechanics are vanilla with a fallout vault dweller theme.

Rules:
The phases are divided in night and day phases. They are basic. Day phases are 48 hours long and you vote for the player that you want sacrificed in the chamber. Night phases, the criminal/mafioso sends me their kill orders.

Votes must be cast in the following format: Vote: Bob
Any vote changes must be cast in the following format: Vote: Bob, Vote: Frank

Victory:
Comes in two flavors. Vault Dweller victory: All the criminals have been killed off in the sacrificial chamber and the vault doors unlock and you are free. Mafia Victory: All of the by standard vault dwellers have been killed.

Oh CivGenral I'll play this game.

One question though: If the Mafia outnumber the Town, will the Mafia win? Because if they control the lynch, there is no way for the town to win. Also, when you say this is a vanilla game, do you mean that there are going to be limited power roles or none at all.

The citizens would still outnumber the mafioso. The intro is designed to inject paranoia into the vault dwellers. Heck, in the fallout universe, they weren't meant to save anyone :evil: (Cept for a couple of control vaults)

Perhaps it should be termed, vanilla vanilla game :p. In a sense, there are no power roles, however I encourage roleplaying in the game :)
 
What I mean is, if you enter Day X with 2 Townies and 3 Mafiosos, the Mafia have a 100% chance of winning, as they would just pile their votes on one of the townies and then kill the other at night. Therefore, there wouldn't be much point in having Day X because the Mafia will win no matter what. So it makes sense to just skip the last day and declare a win for the Mafia. Do you understand what I'm saying?
