The new face of government dependency: Meals on Wheels

A new iniative by the liberal governments propaganda arm, CNN, is focusing on food insecurity. Intent on further expanding Federal tryanny this effort is designed to create in the public eye a new danger. Seniors, we are told, are fearful of hunger and the government must expand its efforts to meet this psychologial need.

Featuring spots where well dressed elderly women in very nice homes, with those $1,500 refrigerators in the background (oops), tell how important it is that minions deliver hot meals paid for with borrowed Chinese money so that they can feel a warm glowing feeling that they are being well cared for. After all, they have old legs and might fall down if they have to trudge into their kitchen and prepare their own meal.

With elderly parents facing this threat of instant death by starvation, their neighbors and kids are nowhere to be found.

It falls to government to save them.

And thus the power of the Federal beast is and must be increased. To ensure that our obese and lazy society is taught to sit and beg for food. Like domesticated dogs.

Thus the evolution of mankind unto perfection. Under government supervison.

The Federal government does absolutely nothing other than seek to protect and expand its power. I doubt that there is a single person here that would disagree if they were being honest.

It's not about power as a goal. It never has been. The goals are always what they are trying to accomplish, which overwhelmingly in the case of the federal government is to address the failures of the market system and the state governments.

Why do seniors need food ?
Just take a brick and hit them over the head once they have outlived their usefulness.
I'd also suggest the same for wounded war veterans and children who are deemed 'too young to work'.

So when your parents or other family members become too ill to cook for themselves will you cook for them?
If your parent’s neighbours become ill and have no one to cook for them will you cook for them also?

There can be no doubt that at some point the Federals will seek to demonize those citizens they cannot profit from, but much evolution of oppression must first take place. At present, Washington still needs the votes. This will change in the end.

Of course. This is the way society has taken care of it for thousands of years. Through private efforts and the church.

To facilitate and support these efforts local and even state governments participate. This is the proper form of private/public efforts.

Evil central government however, seeks to expand its power by seizing control supposedly in the name of charity and goodness but in fact only as a method to further enchain the people and extinguish the failing embers of liberty from the land.
