Question: Allowing PerfectWorld2 games in HoF

Since HoF games do allow modded games (global warming mods), I was wondering if there is any interest in allowing people to submit games using maps created with Cephalo's very popular PerfectWorld2 map script. Obviously, non-standard map scripts are not allowed, but PerfectWorld2 is hands down the most popular non-official Civilization 4 map script and it doesn't try to cheat.

The only issues I see with adding PerfectWorld2 to HoF is that we should require people to use a HoF-blessed version of PerfectWorld2, and said blessed version should disable the code that gives the player more bonus resources at higher difficulty levels.

Thoughts?

Being an open source developer, I completely understand about no longer being motivated to develop for a project which doesn't help pay the rent.

Normally I would say "release the source code and let someone else in the community carry the torch", but considering that HoF's code base has some cheat detection code in it, I can see why that can't readily be done.

Oh well. I don't like non-PerfectWorld maps so I guess I won't be playing any HoF games soon. Sorry. :(
