it was for me at first also, but I think someone may have fixed it.

mmhh...I hope they'll not release the patch around the same time like they made the announcement. I hate it when they bring news so late (...late for me, here in Europe).

I think the patch will hit in the morning (PDT) but don't hold me to that

Would be quite the patch, since four civ games haven't "fixed" it yet, nor can I think of a single marginally complex strategy game I've ever played where I can say the diplomatic AI is actually good.

So, I'm guessing, no... Maybe a minor improvement or two, but no reinvention of the right-angled wheel we've been rolling along on.

I'm not sure they think it's broken. If they did, they would have 'fixed' it by now.

It does need work. I'm waiting to see what G&K will bring to the table when it comes to diplomacy.

This new patch is exciting - I will have to finish my Spain game ASAP so I can try it out...
 
What did the beta patch do then? (which this patch is based on...)

I was about to start a new game, until I heard about the new patch. Hopefully they get it to us this morning.
 
Does this mean I can turn off the beta now?
