The rules are simple: You vote 1 up for your favourite 2 civs and 2 down for your least favourite 2 civs, labelling your votes green and red respectively. You can vote once a day. Once we get to ten civilisations it will to reduced to 1 vote up and 1 vote down. Once a civilisation is out, it is removed from the list and cannot come back. Last civ standing wins!

I fear that as soon as I post this thread there will be a massive patch that will radically alter some of the new civs and make this redundant, or that it may be too soon after the expansion to properly evaluate the new civs. If either turn out to be so I'll ask a mod to lock and repost at a more appropriate time.

I did a Wonder Elimination Thread sometime last year (which Hagia Sophia won, if anyone's interested) and it was requested by a mod to give a reason for your choices so this isn't just a spam thread.

So, let's begin!

Apologies for the poor formatting - AFAIK I can't put the rankings and the original list parallel to each other but if I could i would.

Carthage's UA is very useful and really makes them a unique civilisation. Having so many coastal cities gives Carthage a unique flavour and automatic trade routes do wonders for your early economy, saves on worker turns, and is just generally awesome. England's extra spy makes espionage a lot more fun and the longbowman is probably my favourite UU, with a fantastic promotion that carries forward. The +2 movement is a plus.

The Danes are a very dull civilisation for me. I only very rarely feel the need for move after embarking/disembarking, i never pillage because I want those improvements for myself, and the UUs are rather lacklustre. The Russian UA is quite boring and I rarely feel the need for more strategic resources. The krepost is probably the worst UB in the game for me; I never feel the need to expand my borders more rapidly.

I don't get this, vote for civs you plays as or play against? Because I like Washintgon, but I would never play with America (worst civ in my book). I'll vote for best civ to play as, but do tell if it's otherwise.

Anyways, lots of civs I want to vote for, shame I can pick only 2 of each.

Moderator Action: Guys, this forum is at the moment soo busy, so please, take such threads to the area where they belong too, which is in this case "Forum Games".
It really like to move this thread there, but there's already a "leader eliminiaton" thread going on here.
So please join this thread :). Good opportunity to explore the forum a bit more ;).
-> Closed here, since it's in the wrong area.
