A slightly modified version of a standard domination game with Theodora on Pangea map. We are using a set of rules for a human player, while AIs play a regular game.

---
The special rules for Harder Siamese Twins are:

- The game is played on pangea map.

- A player must settle the first city (CAPITAL) exactly four tiles apart from another arbitrary capital city (TWIN CAPITAL). An AI who owns TWIN CAPITAL is called TWIN AI.

- if TWIN AI looses any city (to a player or to AI), a player immediately looses the game, unless TWIN CAPITAL is the last capital city to capture on the way to domination victory.

- A player must achieve domination victory
---

The first part is already up!

Check Buzzdowan's channel for more in the following days.

I'm enjoying your let's plays Buzzdowan. Your steady and deliberate way of playing have taught me lots. Regarding the discovery of the Iroquois terrain for the city state, just buy an embassy in his capital and you'll automatically learn its location.

Oh yes, I saw that trick with embassy somewhere, yet I still forget to use it constantly. Thank you for pointing it out and have fun with the videos.

You have one more viewer for this dude. Let me catch up!

Nice! The more the merrier :) Enjoy, and let us know what you think of it.

I watched part one so far. Since, I cannot give spoilers out for those that have not seen it. I won't say too much on here. Other than to recommend this set of LP videos for viewing. The first part was very interesting. This challenge is going to be one insane undertaking. :D

Enjoying the LP too!:D Do you have the save? I would like to see how it might have turned out if
Spoiler :
you had taken liberty and the faith-on-deserts pantheon and rexed to 4-5 cities early while keeping a more modest military and delaying iron working until after writing at least. That pantheon would have gotten a leg up on religion much, much faster.

Friendly criticism: I think you would do well to be slightly more bold with you units - scouting east earlier would have paid off quickly and you missed a couple barb-camp clearing opportunities. But solid gameplay overall to be sure.:)

Edit: And one request - can the alarm be turned down? It's awfully loud.. :(

Spoiler :
I was thinking the same thing as Seek. You have a lot of land with no pressure from expanding AI's, since both Monty and Kammy are staying small/tall, so Liberty seems like it would have been a good choice. You have maybe 3 or 4 more decent city sites remaining to fill up that space, along with your current 6(?) cities. With the right beliefs and all of those cities applying religious pressure you could really get your religion expanding quickly. And you would be raking in the cash with tithe. You would just need to keep a growth check on some of those cities during the early expansion, considering all of the wheat and food tiles.

To me Byzantium seems like a natural for Liberty since many of the religious beliefs are geared toward expansion. But I'm sure Tradition will also work out fine. They are both solid trees now.

I wanted to post a preview of my Viking deliberate game story LP on here. Just to you a heads up on what this game will consist of. First, I need to learn to mod a couple of things...

1. Turn times

2. I want Sweden to have the longboat as a UU, same as the Danes.

Here are the rules. Also, if anyone knows, let me know if you think the religion rules would be possible. I am gathering they are, but never tried not to have a religion.

Spoiler :
Vikings Deliberate game.

This game will be played on Sven's large Europe map, on level 6. I have tweaked the map for a rebalance of strategic resources and turn times.

470 turns play as Danes. The game starts in ancient times and ends in the Medieval Era. 4000 BC- 1110 AD.

1. If Copenhagen is lost the game is over.

2. Norway must be settled.

3. The British Isles must be conquered.

4. Sigurd's Crusade

A. You must conquer a coastal city in Anatolia, the Middle East, or Egypt. If there is no coastal city the closest inland city must be captured. The city cannot be an adjacent city to Jerusalem, it has to be at least two cities away.

B. From the captured coastal city all cities must be taken which leads to any city, within a one city radius of Jerusalem. That city must be captured first, before pushing on to the next adjacent city, and so on.

C. All cities closest to Jerusalem, which are adjacent, one city away, must be captured. As long as those cities are within twelve tiles. Anything beyond that they can be ignored.

D. Jersusalem must be captured last to win the game.

5. Religion- The final rule is that the Danes do not try to found their own religion. If they do the game is over.

A. They can take on a pantheon, but should limit their amount of faith, so as to fail in gaining their own religion.

B. First and foremost the Danes should only try to take on whatever religion Rome has adopted, if it is other than Christianity, so be it.

C. A longboat should be dispatched at the earliest convenience, to ascertain the religion Rome is following.

D. Any other religion should be stamped out in any Danish city that is not adopted by Rome.

E. You will not lose the game for cities having another religion, but inquisitors should be purchased, whenever possible, with faith, to try to stamp out whatever religion is not adopted by Rome.

F. When Rome's adopted religion finds its way into any Danish city should be spread with missionaries. (I am guessing a civ without religion cannot get great prophets. Although, I am not sure.)

G. Missionaries cannot be built until Rome's adopted religion has spread to any Danish city.

If there are any questions let me know. I learned how to change game turns. So, I can start my game. The Swedes will not have the longboat for this game though. I will be copy and pasting this in my own thread soon. Just want to let everyone know what I am up too.

In the meantime, I am still watching the Siamese Twins LP. Very interesting indeed buzzdowan . :goodjob:

Hi Everyone,

In order to make this game more appealing I am adding two additional rules to the game. I was inspired by nokmirt who suggested some changes on my YouTube channel. Here is what we are changing:
---
Harder Siamese Twins rev. 2

... add these two rules to the existing rule set:
- A player may never declare war on TWIN AI, unless TWIN CAPITAL is the last capital city to capture on the way to domination victory.

- A player must take a peace deal, if TWIN AI is offering it and TWIN AI does not demand anything for peace from a player, unless TWIN CAPITAL is the last capital city to capture on the way to domination victory.
---

We will follow rev.2 rule set from part 8 on.

Part 8 is already up!

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Great! Glad to hear about the rules changes buzzdowan. It will make the game more dramatic. I got a little bit sidetracked with modding today. What a headache I have from that. So, I will make some coffee, and watch part 5 again. Then try to catch up from there.

Good rule addition, you should also never take anything from the Twin Ai in peace treaty even if they offer it, just a normal peace with no extras .)
