did you put the "Edited Animations and Effects" in your mod with VFS property to true ?
edit: and did you look at the xml example for the chariot ? that chariot did not use base civ5 animation, it must be defined differently than other units: the the edited animations are required, and you can't use the chariot archer as a template. |

I've tried everything that I could think about: - Put the Edited Anims set on VFS...no change - Put only the anims referred to in the fxsxml file in the Greek Chariot folder, set to VFS again of course...no change. - Tried many models besides the Chariot Archer...no luck. Which XML file are you referring to? There was none in the "Civ5 Ancient Unit Pack 02 : Greece" rar file. |

You can also find a chariot with a melee animation in the Ancient Wonders DLC...

Problem finally solved.
