I found this very interesting text that explain tactics for infiltration of internet forums. This is a great read for anyone who wants to learn how to identify the infiltrators.

How common is government infiltration of forums? Have governments/lobby groups tried to infiltrate cfc?

Read most of the thing now.
I guess it's fake, but well...you never know, wrote it as a news tip to Sophos, let's see.
But well...the top ranked google links for the cryptome link are all forums for nutters...that might say enough (...we're on page 3 :mischief:

).

On the content itself: Looks like common debating tactics, adjusted for the internet. Nothing too exciting, but a nice compilation of all the stuff. Works for sure.

More @OP: I think I already had this in the other thread, where somebody suggested trolling as a weapon against Jihadists: Can't be really serious. There are too many forums, too many people. No way to really control that, besides special hotspots maybe.
