As title. Playing as America, both I and Mali are running FL... How do I buy slaves?

Not. AI gets slaves and sends them off to a nearby European colony and sells them there.

You can however found colonies under the Sahara and draft slaves there.

Currently not. I think there should be some way to become more active in buying slaves. Maybe I'll include an option to animate the AI to sell slaves to you.

Since the mission gives 40:gold: perhaps the player should be able to buy at 50:gold:.

Yes, give me that, and without a cooldown please
(A cooldown is absolutely mandatory because otherwise you could just buy 30 slaves per turn and settle them in a city while running City States and Representation. Monster city guaranteed.)

Britain buys them from Mali/Kongo for 50, sells them to America for 60? Maybe a bit overly ambitious, but it would be awesome if the AI could instigate the slave triangle.

That's maybe a little much to ask for. Currently I'm not sure if the diplomacy interface or the mercenary screen would be the better startoff point for this ...

The C2C mod has a system for buying workers (it uses the diplo screen).

Good to know, I'll take a look at that.

I agree.

The problem of C2C is that they continue to add a lot of things without much of a polish and bug fixing, that's why I love DoC since Leoreth focuses more on the polish and bug fixes than adding a lot of stuff.

Mods like C2C overwhelm me, it's almost as if I'm learning how to play all over again, which I can never bring myself to do. It's a shame really because there is some really good content. What can I say though, I'm a one-mod man ;)

Anyways Leoreth, whatever's easier for you man. You could always give it the trading company treatment and give it an event. How about the dominant euro civ with the highest number of stockpiled slaves (as slaves-city-specialists) gets an event giving them 800 or so gold and +2 relations with America (America gets free slaves) if you pick yes? You could also take into account the trading company corp's prevalence in their cities, too.

is c2v cavean to cosmos? i think i may try it. can someone link to the appropriate download thread? not sure if i found the right one

my 40 hours spent on c2c were a waste and iam back to dawn of civ. c2c has great features, but its very easy and takes too much time. (would literally take over 200 hours to complete the tech tree if you play on a big map on the second slowest game speed out of four. playing on fourth would take a lifetime).
those who havent, i recommend you guys try c2c just to see the huge diffirence between the two mods. I'd recommend playing on the huge europe map. althogh expect no balance at all. some civs will have 20 cities and insane science, some will have one city and still have clubmen when you have rifles

Leoreth, I really like the slavery system of RFC Classical world. Any chance that could be impleted with some changes?

I haven't played the mod in a while, so I don't know how it works.
