Here's a new version of the German SDK-222 Armoured Car.

The Sd Kfz 222 design was a modified version of the Sd Kfz 221, with a larger turret designed to carry an automatic gun. Seven series were ordered and completed, each entailing minor modifications. Production ceased in mid 1943 but the proposed new four-wheel armored car was not put into production because of changing requirements. It was felt that the heavy eight-wheel Sd Kfz 234 would be more suitable for reconaissance operations in the future.

The Sd Kfz 222 was issued to the Panzerspahwagen squadrons of the Uafklarungs battalions. With only a short-range radio, it accompanied the armored cars with long-range sets in order to provide covering fire and engage enemy armored reconnaissance vehicles. Its cannon could also be elevated to provide air defence. The Sd Kfz 222 served in all campaigns on all fronts from 1939 until the end of the war

Special thanks goes to several people for making this unit possible: M Nab for the 3-D model, ripptide for animating and converting the model to useable flc files, stainz for pedia icons. Without their work, this unit would not exist. All I really did was create the ini file and assemble the sounds and package the whole thing together. Therefore, I can't take credit for this unit.

I'm hoping this link works as it is the first time I've uploaded anything using the "easy upload system"...

Okay so that didn't work... please be patient while I sort out what happened...

It can't find the file.:(

edit: it works.:) Awsome

Okay... Try it now. Just a little problem with a space in the file name. It should work properly now. :)

It may not be readily apparent, but there are civ specific colours on this units. I made the mistake of using Egypt for the in-game preview and they, of course, are yellow. Rest assured that the civ colours are abundantly obvious (but not overly so) on this unit. Enjoy!

Hehehe. I knew someone was going to ask that. Yes, I have just finished looking at the flcs for this unit in a panzer grey paint scheme. I expect to release it by the weekend.

Here's a preview...

I have uploaded new attack and death sounds in the first post, If you intend to use them, be sure you alter the ini file.

Well, um... nothing happened to the screenshot. But here's an in-game one of the grey camo version if that's what you're looking for. ;)
