Trying to reskin the carrier ...

The new unit works fine with the existing carrier skin but when I change the <Model> element in

I get the "standing on its head" effect seen above!

Porte-Avions_2.fxsxml, Porte-Avions_2.dds, Porte-Avions_2.gr2 and Porte-Avions_2_gloss.dds are all in the mod with VFS=true (from http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=10791977&postcount=10)

Any ideas gratefully received!

I have to level with you, I actually think I like it better floating upright in the sea.

If it's "fidget" mode had been "bob up and down like a cork/bottle" I may indeed have kept it that way :lol:
 
Thanks for answer whoward69 in the other thread but i don't understand how to fix it.

Maybe it's pretty obvious but i don't know what i need to import fron where and to where.
I'm using the mod downloaded from the workshop of steam, i also download it from moddb.com to compare and it looks exactly the same files and size(as it should be)
 
Nutty's comment refers to the link in post #1 (where the original art work came from), and in that thread you'll need to follow the link from the note at the very bottom of post #1

I download the Edited Animations and Effects:

and do what it says in the txt

put the folder "Edited_Animations" to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\Assets\Units\
and
put the "civ5artdefines_viseffects.xml" to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\sid meier's civilization v\resource\Common\

Thanks for the help, and now i'm going to enjoy the mod
 
Might make more sense to post the fix on the original thread ;)
