Lovingly named after the StC arc of the same name. I guess one could call this "IOT Generations!"
Also called IOT X due to simplicity, and I guess because Sonereal retconned his out of the official continuity based on what I heard.
Basic idea:
-This game is on Earth, but due to alien occupation who knows what's ended up on it
-The GM will rarely talk as the GM, but the IC operator of the aforementioned Space Race, a psychotic, seemingly omnipotent alien known only as XONES.
-The unspoken rules of IOT shouldn't need mentioning here, but let me rephrase them. Avoid blatant trolling, spam, flaming, etc.
-Being ridiculously disruptive will result in warnings and/or bans. Please, let's keep this fun as possible.
-Ruleset lovingly nicked from IOT IV
IC intro:
"Hello there. I am the Xenomorphic Overseer of the Nullification of Entire Systems. But you can just call me XONES for convenience.
I've quite easily taken over your world - it was very cute when you sent those toy soldiers against my death androids. But no matter, we can put the past behind us, yes?
I have selected you to participate in my 'Space Race,' a competition among world leaders that has never before been seen by your planet. (Or maybe it has, if that "Imperium Offtopicum" thing I've heard about has any realistic basis...)

Select any ten territories you like and a color. They shall be yours.
==Expansion==

Every turn you have 10 XP. These more or less represent your capacity to settle and make war; they can be used for peace or war. Whichever makes you more happy. Each territory, regardless of size, costs only 1 XP.
You can only expand once in every direction per turn, so you can't rope off land by carving a path. You can settle unlimited coastal territories, however.
How does a world so unequal as the Earth keep such a consistent rate of inequality? That's simple. I incinerate any newly-raised armies. Simple enough.
==Combat==
War plans are the key to victory. You may call it "Roleplay" for convenience. Whoever has the best strategy will emerge victorious in combat. Factor in the terrain, numbers, and all the like. Fairly straightforward.
==Diplomacy==
Diplomacy always keeps things interesting. Be as reserved or as up front as you like. As barebones or as complex. It is all up to you.
Feel free to use the UN to voice your concerns.
But first and foremost, remember only one nation can win the Space Race...
