The original poster may have put a lot of time and effort into making a thread and is genuinely interested in responses and desires serious discussion. When the thread falls into states rights et al you deviate from what the thread was originally intended for. Or something like that :lol:

This makes sense. So is it an infractable offence, then? What's the accusation? Spam?
 
What's the best way to learn guitar (or any instrument), besides teaching it to yourself or getting lessons?
 
I'll rephrase.

Are there any other ways besides: a) paying for lessons and b) teaching it to yourself?
 
A friend of mine learned primarily from YouTube tutorials. He went onto do this:

And he won a local battle-of-the-musicians type thing. I can ask him what tutorials he recommends if you like.
 
Hmm, that might be what I'm looking for.
