Assistance with FfH/HoTK Merge?

I'm working on a fairly ambitious modding project and am also a complete n00b when it comes to modding SDK/the dll code and so on. I know basic python and XML, but that's about where my knowledge ends. The mod project is an oriental-style fantasy mod based around the History of the Three Kingdoms and the Fall from Heaven mod. I'm attempting to merge almost the entirety (except the tech tree and civs/leaders, which will be redone completely but based on FfH) of History of Three Kingdoms into Fall from Heaven 2. (which will remain unchanged other than leaders, civs, units, and graphics adjustments, all of which are XML moddable and I can do on my own) It's a pretty heavy project, and my mod is open and probably dependent on recruiting some more accomplished modders onto the team (which currently consists of me alone). I'm working on a detailed project manual which will go more in depth about the civilizations in the mod and the concepts I plan to add, but for now I just need help with this merge, which is probably impossible for a modder of my capabilities to accomplish. Any assistance merging HoTK with FfH would be greatly appreciated.

And if anyone who reads this, (even if such a large merge is beyond your capabilities but you're still interested in the mod idea) if you'd like to join the team long-term, you're more than welcome.

Anyone interested in helping out with this mod would be appreciated. It's still in the early stages, but modders of any level of experiences are welcome to join, just leave a message in the thread!
 
I wish you the best of luck in this project. However, the sdk modding of FFH is very extensive. And the sdk modding of HOTK is very extensive and *entirely* different from FFH. I highly recommend that you either become, or recruit an experienced sdk modder before going very far on this project.

Yeah, exactly my point...the code is very, very different. That's mainly what this thread is for: recruitment (at least temporarily) of an experienced sdk modder. The project really won't go anywhere otherwise.

out of curiosity, which mechanics from HoTK do you want in FFH? It's probably easier if you ask for help on specific things. Maybe someone else already did merge that feature and can help you out.

Some of the FFH modmods might even already have the features you need.

The two features I'd like assistance with merging into HoTK are the heroes mechanic and the emperor concept (the hero-forming legions modification and the concept of the emperor spawning and being put under the protection of other civs). Otherwise the modding will be done in XML and python.

EDIT: I've changed the mod's core structure, rather than being an FfH2 mod with a few HoTK features I've decided it will be the other way around. However, I still need help modding the SDK. See here for more information: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=481457
