What has changed?

The Milnaht helmets have been fixed. The milnahts were from France and Belgium regions. The former Dutch Milnaht is replaced by the Bavarian Spearman and now belongs to the minor civ Antwerp.

The Spanish units have been replaced because the original are from the Portugal region. They now belong to the minor civ Lisbon.

Added two new German units, two new Slavic Russian units, and a Swedish Axeman

The Huns and Byzantium now have units included in the pack.

Credits

England, France, Germany(Bastarnoz,Wargoz), Austria, Celts, Dutch Cheruscii, Russian Kirslinkas, Denmark, Sweden(Jugunthiz,Gaizoz), and Minor Civs

The original units are from the RTW mod Europa Barbarorum

so beautiful :D

why are huns... scythian ???
(not same era, not same people, huns were asiat, scythian were more middle-east, maybe even "white-ish" with red hairs or blond hairs (as they came from the east... but roughly at same time as danaen (early greeks) and way before franks/german...etc)

great :goodjob:

I'm not sure I can think of an easy way for the minor civs ethnic units... but I will try...

Not a lua expert here, but I think it should be pretty easy to add ethnic units...

-loop through minor civs (To get Edinburough, for example)
-loop through its units to look for unit(s) of the same type as the ethnic unit (for example, look for longswordsman if you want a highlander)
-kill that unit and replace with highlander in the same hex.

hook it to a unit creation event.

Make certain that the ethnic units cannot be built, (-1) to unit cost in xml.

I'm intending to do something like this for my mod but have not gotten to that stage yet.

I've done that, the mod is still there on the file DB, just need to be converted to the new unit graphic definition...

but I don't want to use Lua in R.E.D., and the actual system is meant to be use with continental ethnic units for minor civs, making exception is possible but not as easy as I would like.

Except if I can use more sql magic, but I sometime have difficulties to find the right spell :D

(but keep the units coming JTitan, there is no better motivation...)

I forgot to make the hun unit and made the scythian before I wanted to. Some people do believe that some of the huns were of scythian origin but I agree that they were more mongoloid. I will change this soon.

These are really fantastic!

I might use some temporarily for my "orcs" (temporarily if someone gets around to fantasy units someday...).

but JTitan : just so you know... whatever my comments I'm always in admiration :D

Feedback is important. I appreciate the comments and thank you for the kind words :D

The Huns now have the correct units.

I didnt like the way the Russian units looked together so I added another civ4 converted Slavic Russian. The Karas Viras is unavailable in this unit pack.
