Hello everyone, and welcome to the second annual Civ IV S&T Awards! To be honest with you guys, I was unsure if I'd end up hosting these awards again, but here we are, one year later! Anyway, let's get started!

The rules for the first round of this competition are: each person votes for their top 2-3 stories in each of the 3 categories: comedy, history book, and narrative. Normally the entry requirement would be for the story to be started in 2012, but due to the inactivity of these forums for these last few months (though we seem to be going through a revival now), I will also accept any story that has updated more than once after June 1, 2012.

The top five stories in each category will make it to round 2. In this round, you will only get to vote for one story in each category. The winners of round 2 will be the best stories of the year!

Voting for Round One ends on January 8.
