Version 1 released on Steam Workshop - Jan 24, 2013

Hi everyone,
it's a full G&K conversion of my previous vanilla mods
Starting from now, I'll update and improve this mod on regular basis
New civs and animated units will be the next moves - Feedbacks are welcome
:)

The mod contains the following civs which belong to the ancient mediterranean history:

NOTE: Tyre and Sidon (included in the Phoenician citylist) have been replaced with Megiddo and Ebla respectively as CS
Check in-game civilopedia for infos about them

The mod does NOT contain 3D animated models

New Civs planned for BNW expansion:

Illyria
Nubia
Numidia
Tartessos
Colchis

Sound exiting. I used the old versions for a while and was pretty happy with them but in the end I found that it needed some tweaks to be fully compatible with GEM (align building yields, units strengths etc.) abd gave it up.

Think I might just give it a go again :)

Unfortunately there is no way to run GEM with add-ons like AMC. GEM changes G&K rules, while add-ons MUST follow standard rules

I dont quite follow you when you say that GEM changes G&K rules. GEM changes units, building, techs etc. This is just a matter of me tuning your mod to follow these (for my own private build) - it's tedious but it can be done.

GEM also changes a lot of lua related things, so some things, e.g. traits, might not work. Thats something I can test. Haven't seen problems with the traits from Tomatekh New Civs though.

Or were you thinking about something else?

Would be really useful having a "guide" on "how to modify XML in order to run G&K addons with GEM", i.e. what a G&K modder should do, staying away from GEM code.
I might release my next mods in a GEM-ready separate version :)

Can I download this on civ fanatics?

Ohh, nice to see this updated
I see that the Britons didn't make it from the vanilla version
Assuming this is because the inclusion of the Celts in GK?

For further civs (checking your Civ IV TAM too), with not counting civs mentioned in the Greek Epic:
Sumer, Illyria, Nubia are my top choices
Maybe the Lusitanians or Tartessos to give a little life to Iberia

Next (and last) 6 civs (probability%):
- Illyria (100%)
- Nubia (100%)
- Tartesso (100%)
- Numidia (100%)
- Kolchis (50%) or Armenia (50%)
- ??? open slot

I would rather see Numidia (with Massinissa as leader) instead of Mauretania, even if it doesn't go all along to the gibraltar strait
Armenia sounds very nice, but I did like the Kolchis too in TAM

Can you split this so I can download on Civfanatics? Please, I want really bad to use this mod.

I use campaign edition, so I cannot download it through Steam

Due to my bad english, would be very precious a help for a full Dawn-of-Man TEXT for Teuta (Illyria) and Amanishakheto (Nubia)

Thanks in advance ;)
