This LP is about playing Ethiopia with ICS (infinite city scrawl) style opening on Immortal/Pangaea, but does not use the Liberty Social Policy. Instead, Honor + Oligarchy (Tradition) is used. The core of the strategy is to use Military Caste (+1 Happiness and +2 Culture per city with a garrison), Professional Army (+1 Happiness per defense building) and Oligarchy (garrison units pay no upkeep). Theoretically, this actually provides a bit more than what Liberty provides (+1 Culture from opener, +1 Happiness from city with trade route connections) and I don't need to build roads, but it doesn't start as fast as Liberty because Liberty gives you free Worker and Settler and it doesn't have as much production. In exchange, my military units are stronger due to the early Great General and the bonus from Discipline.
