I wanted to share this great start:
Attila
Size: Standard
Map: Pangea, 5 billion years, 12 civilizations, 12 city-states
Speed: Standard
Legendary Start, Promotions saved, Policies saved, turned on.
Emperor Difficulty
So it's year 3600BC, our people have found a capital, Samarkand (I really hate Attila's Court), our starting warrior animorphed into a battering ram after meeting a witch doctor in a nearby ancient ruin in turn 2, our scout managed to locate the mystical gold city of El Dorado in turn 8, while at the same time, our battering ram found the Mongolian capital, Karakorum.
The capital itself has a mountain for observatory, river, and 6 eventual pastures, which would give 6+ hammers. If this was a real world, the Huns would have went to Alpha Centauri before the Eastern Rome collapsed.
There's a good space for a second (third?) city between Samarkand and Karakorum, which makes it possible to do a 3-city start. I'm gonna buy a worker instead though.
I'm actually thinking of doing a spaceship victory, since domination is way, way way too easy.
