Seeing that PAX is now over, when will we recieve new information?
Any new civs or features of the game would be nice to hear about seeing that its nearly 3 months until the expansion is released which when waiting, is quite a long time.
I'll say we'll hear something new between now and July.
Now the serious answer: Probably in mid april or whenever the big gaming magazines release their new editions.
Anyways, I guess in a few weeks, though if Firaxis is reading the forums, it would know this sub-forum is kind of on it's last leg for new info and might give in with a couple screenies, but if they don't give any new info by my birthday (the 21st) I swear I'll cut off my pinkie toe.
I usually do the same. Since I work three days a week where the firewall blocks the site, it's kind weird I check it five times a day on those days
I expect the main game websites will start covering a few things this month. My guess is every two or three weeks is what to expect. The thing is, when they release information, it comes in droves.
Well atleast it MIGHT be coming in the next few weeks as I really have an addiction of checking the forum now -_-
I really wish I discovered the expansion in say May or June (Late) like I did with G&K so I wouldn't have months of excitment and speculations.

Not only that but I don't feel like playing GnK anymore. Tried to do a last culture game last night but it was all too boring and passive, I kept thinking about trade route and tourism and archeology.
So now I'm obsessed with the extension of a game I don't play anymore...

Damn I'm feeling exactly the same way as you. Started as Alexander in a area of tundras and i was thinking well if i settle my second city in that tundra which has some luxes, i can transfer some production from Athens..Oh no, this is just G&K
Ah well atleast you could play a game - My 151 saves for a Russian Earth Game that I reached the 70s on and was about to nuke Mongolia into submission but then the saves refused to load and would just immediately crash on the loading screen

my work firewall blocks everything civ related (but well of souls for some reason ).
but thanks to my smartphone i don't need to think up some lame reason to go home for lunch.

That’s the complete opposite for me. My work firewall doesn’t block civfanatics so I mostly read this site at work. Conversely, I’m usually too busy at home to read it there. That’s why it sucked when they released the news that BNW existed on a Friday and I came into work on Monday to see a billion new threads that I needed to read. Then PAX East was on a Saturday and, once again, I came into work on Monday to a billion more threads. I’m shocked that I ever managed to catch up on it all.
Which is why I’m expecting them to release new information some time this afternoon.
I expect the 12th, 15th, or 16th. Although today wouldn't be too surprising. There was a NY Post blog article that seemed to focus on Ideology earlier this week. That could signal the feature of the month and that we might see more soon.
Also hoping for more info soon - though I think we'll hear something next week. I reckon there'll be screenshots of one of the scenarios, which will include a yet-to-be-revealed new civ.
