1) Scientist Effect buffed from +1 Research for all Scientific Buildings to +2.
Since there aren't that many of them...

2) Remove test codes

3) AI has been enhanced such that there will only be 10% to trigger new mission upon birth.
Effectively this mean 20% since there are 2 missions for each type of GP.
For most missions, there are individual AI considerations beside the 10%.
For instance, General's Rally will only be used when AI is at war.
Artist's Grand Concert will be used only when AI has > 8 Cities.

4) All missions usable only in own cities now for simplicity sake.

Hi, platyping. Happy to see your update in such a short time.:thumbsup:
One question, what is the exact effect of the "Holy Site" mission? "Set as Holy City of :religion:",and what does it mean?:)
 
I'd be a bit cautious as a player to use any GP for something that had a chance, even just a 20% chance, of not doing anything. It would make more sense IMO to just let the GE give you a free metal resource without a failure chance.
 
Hmm initially set the 80% so that it won't be that easy to get Uranium or Aluminium.
But thinking back, since there are so many useless metals by the time those 2 are discovered, I guess the 20% failure rate is no longer required.

Added these 2 missions to General just to test how the disabling works.
Havent done AI for these 2, will look into them after I think of something for the others.
Scientist is the worst, pretty much nothing I can do with them since it is all about Tech / Research...

Added 1 Mission for All Great People as well, excluding Great General.

Great stuff!
There is another great prophet mission in SoI:
Spreads your state religion to 4-6 random cities (where it wasn't present before)
It can be any civ's city, including you

Yeah, actually that is exactly what I have in mind for prophet, except numbers will vary with world size.

Some others I have in mind:
Engineer
Build all buildings available for a city or maybe 2 each for all cities.
Let u build up a newly captured city fast.

Artist
Release album, +1 or 2 hit bonus

Merchant
Something to do with trade route

Spy
Sabotage nukes or assainate great people or cause anarchy

It is that damn scientist which has nothing else to do except research and research :)

6 to 8 sounds too miserable for a standard size map, so I fix it at 4 Cities per Worldsize.
Thus Duel will be 4, Standard will be 16.

Also, it will choose own cities first before looking for others.

Again, havent bothered to redesign the AI part till I am done with the 3rd set.

Some ideas;

Artist: Hold big Concert, +:culture and +:gold:.

Scientist: Hold Scientific Convention: Gain 1 tech known by at least one civ.

Both seem like they definitely need more than 1 to activate though.
Downside will be the ai part, as ai seldom bother to keep gp around for future use unlike us.
Unless we give them some perks such that ai has slim chance to activate them even if only 1 around

Success Rate:
A) Roll a number based on our espionage points against them
B) Roll a number based on (their espionage points against us x2) (Give the poor victim a perk)
A > B: Success

Notes:
This success rate is for each individual nuke, so it is not all or nothing.

Requirements for All Missions have been revamped.
Generally All Missions can only be activated in player's own plots.
Some are restricted to City only for obvious reasons, such as recently added Metropolis (Engineer 3)
Some have special requirements, such as State Religion for Prophet Missions, Tech Requirements for certain high level ones like Terraform (Scientist 3)
This is the only one that cannot be done in own plot, nor vassal/master/teammate.
Of course, there is also a special requirement for this, Manhattan obviously.

AI wise, I will let them still activate directly upon birth, and victim simply be their "worst enemy".
Just a little perk, else have to write additional codes to move them.

No idea why, somehow all the entertainer jobs get linked to Great Artist

3rd set done.
AI codes rewritten, AI added for all except the last spy mission.
That one lazy to write now.

Can you consider adding missions for great statesman and great doctor
Ex diplomat fits to great statesman.

I asking because I would love to see it implemented into c2c mod.
 
No idea what a statesman does, but if that sounds like a diplomat, there you go

No longer available when there are only 2 teams.
I seriously don't care what he/she thinks of me if he/she is my only rival...

World Peace
Not available for Perm War/Peace or Always War games
