Update I: 2200 CE
The world’s nuclear arsenals have all vanished, and while the loss of such weapons puts worry on many’s minds, they alleviate the fears of countless others. The overall balance of power has not changed at all; no less than twenty-two great powers stand ready to spread their ideology and influence around the globe. From the wealthy Amazonian interior to the impoverished shores of Aragon to the divided lands of Australia, there is no shortage of opportunity to exploit.
The Union of Nations’ new General Secretary Sigmund Bertram of the Leth Confederacy will be responsible for continuing his predecessor’s duties to the world’s 91 nation-states, both big and small. Unlike Roland Emerich, he will also have to deal with a new threat: the anti-xenomorph international terrorist group, Humanity First. Whether the Secretary will successfully coordinate a pan-Earthling effort to rein in the threat remains to be seen. He also has to deal with a large surge of reactionary sentiment, Bertram being the world’s first non-human Secretary.
The Mongolian Republic, while peaceful, finds itself locked between Siberia, the Noodle Republic, and the Golden Horde. Possessing more population (packed into a few large cities) than any other major power and being so thoroughly corralled, the world watches the state with caution, fearing that the slightest economic downturn or diplomatic blunder could possibly radicalize the state to make use of its untapped military might.

Remember the standard orders format, friends. ANHEI-E. Army, Navy, Healthcare, Education, Infrastructure, Espionage (and whether the money is spent at home or in another country). Influence can be placed wherever in your orders.
You can send orders in both actual numbers, or as percentages of your budget. If you don’t like micromanagement you can appoint a Prime Minister; I will manage your budget for you in accordance with whatever goal you have. Just make sure to tell me what you’re aiming for!
Recommendations:
-Set your army/navy size somewhere between 1-3%. Smaller means more growth, bigger means people won’t be as opportunistic.
-Invest heavily in infrastructure; infrastructure boosts both trade and domestic income.
-Spend at least 10% of your income into home espionage. You don’t want to get swamped by a surprise attack.
-Ignore foreign espionage for now. As it stands the economic gap is still too narrow between most countries to be exploited. Wait a few turns where your power can really shine.
-The following players should tell me their traits: Terran Emperor, NinjaCow, Robert Can’t, HopliteJoe, Dem Taqat, Double A, Ogane, Nedim, Christos, Patchy.
-The world’s a dangerous place. I’d look for at least one human ally if I were you.
Ravus, I will be sending you a PM detailing Turn 1 NGO things shortly.
