On two separate Emperor difficulty games post patch I've noticed that the golden age counter never modifies for previous happiness triggered golden ages. It modifies for the number of cities, but after a GA, the counter stays in the 500's rather than adjusting to approximately 800. Is this a change to the GA mechanic or a bug?

I had Golden Ages for every 835 points almost the whole game.
Why isn't this in the 'confirmed bugs' list?

That is actually good, because the happiness did not count during persias 100 turns of golden ages, which was also stupid... You could have +50 during the golden age, and after it, you have the counter starting at 0. So not increasing the amount needed for the next GA would counter that. So maybe this intended?

In a new game I have started after the latest patch there is no increase in the costs of golden ages after one has ended.

More people have this?

Having the same problem, myself. I wonder if all the civs are being locked in at 835...?

Oh i have the same problem. Have Gold & kings expansion. I think players that updated to Brane New World don´t have this bug.
