New patch today. There is a "Multiplayer" button on the Mods menu.

ho, great, just this day steam refuse to let me connect to my account... seems I'll have to wait before I can test if they've just unhidden the button or really removed the hardcoded mod's disabling when launching a multiplayer game

yep, looks like it's still disabling mods when entering the MP setup screen...

but I suppose that means they're working on it for the fall patch...

Aw, I had my hopes up it would be working now. Oh well, at least if it's out with the fall patch, that'll be cool.
