Again... all of these are SO cool!

Thanks again for the detail on that document too.

This is making me think we may need to, with 1D properties, also cause the base culture (ethnicity) designating itself in competing volumes in our cities as well as the more advanced cultures that branch off from those. My point is that Ethnicity and Culture would be two differing pools of competing influences... These units would then be produced according to the Ethnicity Majority in the city.

Also if you need a backup, Google Drive gives you 15gb. It has to be. Zip and if you want others can download.

Are you going to be skinning futuristic units in a few months?

Im only using existing models, dont changin it (except deleting shields, ornaments etc). I dont have experience with 3D modeling.

I can only say that most of these models are the same size :)
Only mounted and siege units are bigger.

@sparth

Can you also do your units all at one height.

I remind about that because we also have unit rescale project.

He doesn't control how big a unit is. The Art defines file tells how big a unit is. The size is all controlled by <fScale>. And what value is put in that field. Thus having a unit 1.0 depends upon the scale of the original unit. And many units are different scales. For instance most of the animal units are much bigger than civ4 units and have to be scaled way down.

However, IF the original scale of the units is somehow normalized in their 3d mesh files then fScale could be moved to the size combat classes and the unit would inherrit the fScale there and would always thus be kept to a consistency based on the combat class size of the unit.

Would take a pretty big effort on the modeling side though.

1. Horseman - ok we skip this entire model. Looks like bugged or something.
please use atached model (nif files and dds too). Main nif file is: african_horseman.nif

2. Early merchant - main nif file is newnativescout.nif
For more information which nif file use please check this spreadsheet
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AqVuHphw5zHzdFJxakFzTkRxUmhDRkVKWTZaOEo2Nmc#gid=0

If column H says "no" then use NIF from my downloaded model because these model aren't included in C2C yet.

No offense, but i need to know which unit you derived the model from, because i am concerned about KFM's not Nif's.
If i use the wrong kfm, that is when i get (see attached) Early Merchant looking like this?? And headless horseman etc.
Nifs are easy to figure(its right there in the file) but kfm's are a different story (animation)
