Late Galleass

Here's the unit I had to stop working on because I no longer had PSP. But I do now!

Anyway, it's an upgrade (??) to the Galleass I made a while ago. I tested it in-game, and it looks great. EDIT

review Done.

Looks great... One thing though the cannon seems to have a lot of green in it... I haven't tried this in game so maybe the shadows (or smoke) that replaces the green looks fine....

Question for use: Should this unit sink on sea? I think so, like galley in normal Civ3.

Do those green bits in the sails mean that parts of the sail are transparent in-game?

In reallity yes, but i don't think it's a major problem

Probably Sea: NO Ocean: YES. They were considerably more sophisticated than galleys, were contemporaries of Galleons, and admittedly sallied into the Atlantic rarely, but had no problem sailing out of sight of land in the Med.

Thanks, Bob, for that early preview, but you created a lot of unnecessary concerns.

Oh well. As everyone can see with the new preview, it looks perfectly fine in-game.

THis unit looks Great

. I have the earlyer Version og the Galleass pop out around Gunpowder. Ill have this Galleass a more heavyer version and appear in Metalurgy and be an upgrade from the Early version of itself.

Thanks CivGeneral. Also check out my new catapult attack version in the first post of my first Galleass unit. You can have the unit show up earlier (I call it Catapult Galley in my mod), then have my "Late Galleass" be an upgrade and simply call it "Galleass".
