One of the major reasons behind the steppe units is my annoyance with all Turkic nomads in mods being represented with Kinboat's mongols. If felt some verity was needed...
 
Perhaps upgrades to the earlier Alans (Sarmatians). About the same area. Or ?

very nice pack. it seems to me you have worked a little on the horse, or if not it seems to me to be better than before. nice units!! also usefull in a hungarian scenario
