Well, this is a test for new Polish UP: start as Greeks, build an empire, move capital faraway, gift all cities and 25000+ gold and 1 great people to Polish in 1020 AD, then switch. Polish gets 1 great people in Corinth in one turn, then the perpetual golden age begins.

I got 2000+ research points per turn from start, 1 tech each turn, and launched my spaceship in 1480.

That seems really abusive of the flip mechanics.

No builder but yes this is cheating, but it is fun. The most OP ancient civ and an UP that can increase food and commerce income...

Just started over again, but this time my Greek empire got too much cities, and no Confucianism. Only got 2000 gold in turn 170, failed.

I'm exhausted.

Yes it is one tech per turn, faster than last game. You can try my "Imba II" savefile, the first turn after switch. Strategy:

1. Start GA immediately.
2. Switch to guilds. It costs 2 turns for any further civic change, for you have a large empire. Research drama by overflow in anarchy.
3. Wipe out Greeks (Shanghai, unguarded) immediately, I had a knight standing by Beijing.
4. 1 tech per turn, bulb tech when you get great people, it saves you 1 turn.
5. Seljuks? No problem. You'll face Mongols, Mughals and Turkey flips later, refuse all, destroy them by riflemen...(you can surely get rifling before 1190)
6. Build a spy and steal philosophy from Moors if they don't trade. (I didn't do this so I cost one more turn)
7. Build the Verseilles before your first GA runs out. I discovered printing press before complete, so I switch to secularism right away. Build catholic missionary in case of the city loses catholicism.
8. Beeline steel and steam power, later era brings you less city number maintainence.
9. Liberalism for whatever. That brings you an UHV, and 3 cathedrals are pieces of cake.
10. Play at will...... in this game I would launch spaceship in 1460, I think I can push it further, like 1450. How about no more revolution before Cristo Redentor?

By this kind of mega game, Leoreth should know that there's something to tweak. Then I'll try again in new version...

Of all the youtien roll-the-map strategies I find this on par with using world builder to create fantastic empires. Switching civs is not a strategy.

True. It is just for fun. By the way, would the 600 AD scenario map include Mausoleum of Mausollos?
