Hannibal wins space in 1821.

Qin, Lincoln, Washington, Louis and Sury get eliminated.

Ragnar wins domination

It seems that a lot of civs are quite cramped here. Hannibal seems to be getting enough land, has a corner position and peaceful neighbours, namely Lincoln so I suspect him to be the winner here. Let's say space around T300.

Who will be eliminated? I think Monty will win the duel against Qin, maybe Lincoln will be elimanted too. But this game has vassals so I expect not too many eliminations and more capitulations.

I'd like to throw in my dice for a more unlikely, but possible outcome.

Monty goes for Qin, but Qin gets the upper hand and vassals Monty. Protected by his choke point Qin then wins space in the end, because no one really gets ahead of him.

I would also expect a slow tech pace in this game, so maybe 1900ish space

Lincoln vassals to hannibal by 500 AD.

Please read the spoiler for "How It Was Set Up."

I clearly state "No Vassal States" as one of the options!

Sooo.... no vassaling (or capitulation) in this game!

First choice: Hannibal. Second choice: Joao. Third choice: Cyrus. Fourth choice: Ragnar.

I'm guessing that even if one of the AIs on the continent takes it over it will still be too little land to compete with a runaway on the bigger continent. Land distribution is pretty even though Hannibal may have a slight edge depending on how Lincoln settles.

We have one guaranteed progress-crippling war (the small continent), and likely declarations by Mehmed and Ragnar. Ragnar has no metal but could declare with HAs, which he could get to quickly with those gems. This has a small potential to devastate Sury, giving him Iron and leading to a snowball.

Hannibal has gold, iron, possible horses but terrible food. If he gets enough land he could victimize a soft AI like.

Joao can often out-settle other AIs, and his land is decent.

Cyrus will be blocked but his land is good and he tends to tech really well in the AIs hands with a small empire.

The most obvious choice would be Hannibal, but I'll put my bet in for Cyrus. He's got horses, and he's got peaceful neighbors who would be likely to get curb stomped by immortals for a domination win.

Hello, again.

Tomorrow at 18:00 (Norwegian time) I will close the competition. That is about 24 hours and 50 minutes from now...

During Sunday the winner will be made public.

Winner: Sury (Space) in 1922

Eliminated: Washington and Ragnar

Not expert enough to guess wonders.

@Kjotleik interesting experiment!

How do you set it up so it auto plays? And how to observe?

Hello, Pepoluan!

Well, I use the Better BUG AI mod, which includes the AI Auto Play function.

Enable cheats in the CivilizationIV.ini-file (CheatCode = chipotle).
Start a game like usual, one human player on Deity level - the rest AI's. Remember to set the autosave for each and every turn!

Worldbuilder in Deity starting units and technologies to the human player.
Press CTRL+Z to reveal the map. Press CTRL+SHIFT+X and choose number of turns (here that means 750).

Sit back and relax for an hour.

Once an AI reaches a victory condition, you are either taken to the end-of-game-screens or prompted to choose a civilization (if the "human" one has been eliminated). Just choose "None" (or was it "No?") to be taken to the end-of-game-screens.

When going through the autosaves, remember to press CTRL+SHIFT+X to chose a new civilization if you open at a date later than the "human" player's elimination. There is still the one-turn of RNG that will differ from the "real" game when you do it like this (don't know how to avoid that, I'm afraid).

Pros: Don't need to sit and click end-of-turn all the time (can in fact be away from computer to do other stuff, if you like)

Cons: Apart from the small one-turn RNG-change upon re-loading an autosave after the elimination-date of the "human" AI, I don't know of any (yet).

Yours Sincerely
Kjotleik of Norway :)
