If you have won a UHV and have a higher score, earlier winning date, higher score or earlier winning date on another victory/speed combination, higher score or earlier winning date in another scenario than listed in this post (below), then post the following information: your save after the victory, civ, score, winning date, difficulty, game speed, scenario, SVN version (if using SVN); and, if you want, strategy and screenshots.

Virtual victory: If you have achieved all goals (everything is green on the victory screen), but you haven't won yet (because it's too early), then post two winning dates: a virtual and the real. The earliest victory will be considered by the virtual date. You have to post a save to prove it.

Note #1: Please, post a save immediately before victory. If you post a save after the victory the winning date in the OP would be that of the save.

Note #2: You can't use WorldBuilder.

Note #3: You can use only version 1.12 or SVN revision 781 or later.

There was posted no victories as the following civ: Colombia.

Changes from the previous thread:
1) Every difficulty/speed combination will be credited separately. Because of this the bolded score and winning date will be the ones with the highest score/earliest winning date of all victories as this civ in this scenario. Also, if there'll be two victories as the same civ in the same scenario on the same difficulty/speed combination, the one which has the highest score won't have it's winning date listed and vice versa.
2) Save requirements are changed. You must post a save to prove a virtual victory and check note #1.

At last it is open. Prepare yourself. Victories are coming! (Note there are already some in the paragon thread).

EDIT: 781! Damn, you just exlcuded half of my victories!

Spoiler :

After winning Babilu started working on Hanging Gardens.

Hammurabi looking outside his palace.

And the title of the fastest victory goes to Babylonia! Victory in 11 minutes!

Strategy:
Discover writing and built library ASAP, it is vital for the 3rd goal. Then discover polytheism and build Zigurat ASAP (I kept an eye on the second goal). I found impossible to discover both masonry and monarchy on time, so didn't discover masonry.

The first I built was a worker, it seems the best option and he built the pasture and only cottages.

It is hard to find alternative strategies. Research rate is too law to discover masonry or build something else than cottages.

Yeah, right.

Strategy:
Conquering Egypt ASAP isn't optional. Conquering Babylon and destroying Kalhu and Shush helps a lot. Jerusalem before Persian spawn helps. Conquering Sur before Carthage spawn helps too. Epidamnos on bronze (units training city), and Korinthos (wonder building city), Byzantium for stability.
After that everything's easy, just defend against the barbarians (they're many).

Trivia:
*323BC seems to early. Maybe 30BC would be better. 323BC means you have to conquer Egypt ASAP.
*Rome seceded from roman empire...

I also got a few in stock so here we go.

- Khmer (600 AD, no SVN)
- Monarch / Normal
- score : 5777
- finish : 1370 AD

Two awesome things about the Khmer in the new version :
- the "artists in priest slots" effects has been moved to Wat Preah Pisnulok (China can't steal the effect before u even get aesthetics anymore) ;
- the Budhist holy city (NE India, don't remember the name atm) doesn't flip to Mughals anymore.

This allows for a less tight gameplay :
1. Conquer the two cities in North India, whip monasteries, temples and barrays everywhere (except maybe Dilli that can build units instead of temples). Be efficient with your whipping (manage overflow).
3. Manage the great people pool. Don't hire specialists (needs manual adjustments), so that no more than 1 GP spawns before the next step is complete.
4. Research Philosophy and build Wat Preah Pisnulok (good timing with the chopping of hills north of Hanoi helps build it faster).
5. Trade Philosophy for techs (Calendar, and stuff) to your neighboors. Don't forget to have a good amount of workers (8 at the very least, 10-12 is better) ready when you get Calendar and prioritize bananas. Pagan should be razed prior to this.
6. Grow and hire lots of artists (Holy City in India can hire 8 easily, make it grow before you get Wat Preah).
7. When you have grown enough, golden age helps get GAs faster.

I edited my Portugal typo. Continuing :
- Spain (600 AD, no SVN)
- Monarch / Normal
- score : 9194
- finish : 1700 AD

I always liked Spain.
I failed my first try like a noob because I didn't colonize NW America fast enough to get the precious metals in time.

The next try was better and I colonized all historical areas (including most of Argentina just for the kicks) much faster.

I got especially lucky since only Moors (rebirthed around 1500 despite me being solid, stealing my two maghreban cities ) and Congo converted to Protestantism when the Reform happened.
I reconquered the Maghreb to teach these heretics a lesson.
A little "donation" ensured that the newly born Dutch followed the true faith.

I also won as Babylon on the same difficulty as you, citis, beating your score by a few hundreds only
But I didn't keep the save, lucky you ;)

I also tried Babylonia, and my final score is a bit lower than yours, but I achieved a virtual victory on turn 81. I did build the Oracle, waited at 1 turn before finishing it. When I was 1 turn away from monarchy, I set production back to the almost-finished Oracle. Next turn, new era, free tech, Code of Laws...

I'm actually not sure if this virtual victory should be in the list or not, because the score is lower than citis'...

Some data:
Civilization: Babylonia
Score: 7721
Virtual winning date: turn 81
Actual winning date: turn 94/95
Difficulty: Monarch
Game speen: Normal
Scenario: 3000 BC

Note: this is acually my first victory in Dawn, I used to play the normal RFC before :)

Well my first DoC UHV v 1.12 try

Eqypt, 3000 BC, Monarch, Normal, no SVN, Virtual victory turn 145, Finishing date turn 152, score 10615.

Virtual date could be earlier if i got Great Prophet instead Great Engineer around turn 130, i think that someone else shall beat my Egypt game fast.
For some reason Egypt at 1.12 seems bit harder than 1.11. Especially since Babylonia for some reason suddenly loves to build wonders fast that Egypt need and tendency of Greece to complete Great Library around turn 120. After many restarts and reloads i managed to have Sphinx, Pyramid and to my surprise Hanging Gardens in my capital. I also managed to settle Amunia before Greece spawn to grab fish and clam resources.
After that settle Yebu and research animal husbandry before going for Literature because chariots is really needed for defense. Greek conquer event is much easier since Hoplite lost it 100% defense bonus against chariots, Roman conquer event is same as 1.11. After some hours of frustration a victory message is finally given.

For some reason Egypt at 1.12 seems bit harder than 1.11. Especially since Babylonia for some reason suddenly loves to build wonders fast that Egypt need and tendency of Greece to complete Great Library around turn 120.

1.12's Monarch is actually a higher difficulty level than 1.11's, featuring a smarter AI that places a higher value on Wonders (1.12's Regent is equivalent to 1.11's Monarch, and is the current standard difficulty).

I have a victory for Babylon in Regent, but I forgot to attach the saves to this post. Will have it and the details next post.

Civilization: Babylon

Win Date (Virtual): t86
Win Date (Actual): t94

Strategy:
Get a Worker out ASAP. Have it pasture the sheep, then build cottages on the floodplains. When you get Masonry, quarry the stone, then the marble. Build a Library as soon as you get Writing, and whip a Ziggurat as soon as you get Polytheism (you'll have to wait a turn between switching to Pantheon and whipping). Build Walls when you aren't busy with wonders or the above buildings - it won't take long thanks to the Stone.

Tech order is Writing -> Mysticism -> Masonry -> Polytheism -> Priesthood -> Monarchy. If you get enough cottages up, and micro your city slots for maximum commerce, it's possible to get both Masonry and Monarchy before the Persian spawn. Switch to Slavery and Pantheon as soon as you get Polytheism. Use the Oracle to get Code of Laws.

If Egypt goes for the Sphinx instead of the Hanging Gardens, then build the Gardens, whipping if necessary. Otherwise, build the Sphinx yourself. Either way, build the Ishtar Gate for extra culture when you get Priesthood, and the Oracle after you reach the Classical era.

If Shush flips, have it spam Bowmen, and send them all to the capital. In my save the Persians didn't immediately declare war, but it doesn't matter either way if you have enough bowmen.

Tech trade with the Phoenicians doesn't help you win the game, but it does increase score. They should trade Hunting for Agriculture, and either Monarchy or Code of Laws will net you Bronze Working. Get whatever you can with whichever of BW or CoL that you didn't trade for Bronze Working.

I could have probably gotten a better Virtual Victory date if I had whipped the Oracle, but I refrained to ensure I won the most populous city goal.

It isn't easiest UHV, because of 5 friendly communists. Maybe on some difficulties would be enough only vassalized friends, but not on "paragon". So, my solution was to try to establish good relations with Netherlands and America, because favorite civics of American leaders are republic/egalitarianism and Netherlands - republic. We going to run all this civics. And 3 vassals: Poland, Vikings, Prussia.
But everything went not as I did expect... Vikings collapsed and Germany captured Amsterdam, after it Netherlands collapsed ofcourse. Besides, instead of 4 continuous golden ages, I've had only 2... It does mean that better result overall is possible.
1. Relations.
Liberate cities for your vassals, for example I've had +9 relations for liberating cities for Prussia. From time to time give techs, resourses to your vassals, then they most likeky will forget about some bad events. For example Vikings forgot that I declared war on them.
Start establishing good relations with signing defensive pacts with not-vassal civs (in my game it was America, Netherlands, England) Do it already in 18 century.
2. Railroad
All tiles of railroad should be covered with your culture. To avoid problems with this UHV build some city between Bodajbo (near gold) and Nelkan (on gems). I prefer Cicikar (on coal in foreign area). With this city placement you will be able to build railroad already with 40% cuture in cities.
3. Manhatten Project and Apollo Programm.
To research Rocketry and Fusion fast enough we need to run "cottage economy" from the beginning. In the beginning finance espionage (to steal techs from your neighbours, because stealing techs is at least 2 times cheaper, maybe 3 or 4, didn't count)
Steal Liberalism to adopt Republic, it's very important. When your villages will be towns, steal Economy and adopt Capitalism, after it finance science on your own. Do not steal steam power, scientific method and communism, because you cannot give AI(including vassals) any stolen techs. We need communist brothers, not just backwater useless vassals, right?
Build Iron Works in Moskow or Kiev, each project be completed in 4-6 turns at most.
Spoiler :

saved game is zip-archive. Unzip it, thanks.

Strategy:
The main opponent here is the sence of time. It seems you have plenty of time to play like a normal civ game, which is fatally wrong. You have to plan completely your strategy before the first turn and apply it loyally. There is no time to build this library or forge, start preparing the next step of your strategy immediately.

Admitedly I was lucky in this game in two ways. Firtly the cover event, gave my melee units significant advantage against the archers that defended my targets. Second, China collapsed, so I was able to conquer South China, and the holy confu, tao city and great wall city was the southest Haojing, defended by a single indy archer.

I conquered Tamils, colonised Sumatra, conquered Pagan, colonised Burma, conquered South China and Indonesia, to make sure to get the third goal, even in case of plague.

Settle Carthage as capital and Saguntum (on silver) as secondary city. Built great cothon and great lighthouse at Carthage ASAP, so that you can have a great merchant and enough time to send him to an Indian holy city. Conquered Italy before Romans train praetorians. A second great merchant may help.

Strangely I gained an Augustus Caesar Rank while I wasn't even the first or second player on score. I let Celts alive in France and balkans (they fought the barbarians for me). I could conquer them and have even larger score.

No images. Sorry for that, but the site I host them stopped to be free anymore :(

1. Colonization and preparations for it.
After 2 restarts it has become clear that sitting on Islands in attempts to research astronomy isn't good idea (20 turns to research lol).
Decided to conquer France. In total produced around 15 heavy swordsmen and 10 catas. But it was worth of it.
After guilds appeared, added in this army few knights, prepared galleys in Marselle and Rome and conquered Egypt. +1 trade rout is most significant boost England can get in that era.
Stolen most advanced techs from Spain and Holy Rome (for example, stealing astronomy is 1.800 EP, 4-5 turns of financing espionage, instead of financing science during 20 turns...)
Started 2 golden ages, researched/stolen techs for TC event.
2. Ships.
Declared war on Japan and Turks to sink their triremes with my Frigates. Japan has especially many triremes and they don't hiding them in cities usually. Strangely, but Japan agreed to capitulate later.
3. Industrial and Modern era.
Steel for Industrial era.
Refrigeration for Modern.
For good research rate, build all scince buildings. Don't forget about courthouses, markets, royal exchanges, because expenses in such a huge empire are crazy.
