Alright, so in followup to my recent thread where I asked for feedback about how to get generally better at the game, I've started a new one from scratch. Anyone is free to join.
One of the reasons I'm starting a new thread is that I came to the realization near the end of the thread that I was actually using the Better BAT AI mod on accident
- meaning my experience on noble was much different that most other people's.
This game is on Monarch. I know some people wanted me to play deity(yikes!), but I think a Monarch level game will be fine for getting me back in the swing of things, and will be plenty challenging.
The start:
We're playing Zara Yaqob this game, and it looks like we're in for a reasonably balanced capital which shouldn't run into any problems growing or producing in the early game, assuming SIP.
Be sure to post what you did and why, as well as regular updates. Have fun!
EDIT: This version uses BAT 4.1 instead, which lacks the AI improvements despite being basically the same mod.
