Firaxicon: 'An Evening with Sid Meier' video released

The centrepiece of Firaxicon last month was the evening talk with Sid Meier and Jake Solomon, covering both Sid's career and game development more generally. The talk was recorded, and has now been released on the Sid Meier's Civilization youtube channel.

Video of the panels from throughout Firaxicon will also be released soon.

The video was a mixture of hagiography and puff piece.

I was hoping for some interesting questions, like why he hasn't had a good game out since Gettysburg, or why no Railroad Tycoon 2?

It was very illuminating that he said he found the second half of projects less interesting than the first.
