I desided to open this poll right after I got a little message in AIM saying:

Now, I can't choose one of ther kinds, cause I LOVE both.
So you all the new, and old and older players could choose.

I wanna see if it ends in a tie.

And please befor you answer make sure you played atleast one of each, or atleast red a story NES (because most of you never played one...)
 
Ive played both and tho I was sad to see a decline in board game nes's I got into a few Story nes's Neo Nes is a good example of y i like em. Fun, intresting and a social event in a way

And who created board NES's with too much stories? I forgot his nick, but thos were Not Board games to.

The only board games latly were Jnes (too soon to say by it) and RNES (too small to participate lol)

And I don't sure there were more
 
never said Neo was a board nes, and well i played in board nes's ages ago
 
well i prefer a combo, a hybrid, you have to post a few storys, and is more realistic as you can see where the armys are, so a story/board is my style, i dont mind both.

ps-neo-nes has plenty of land to start a civ in, join now ! :p

I like the board nes, it concentrates more on strategy and is more realistic, other then the story nes where you fate rests in the hands of the mod.

lol I like story NESs when I have time, but for sheer simplicity, lack of repetition and tactics, I have to go for the game NESs.

Not that I'm biased or anything :p

ye, i feel sorry for story too. lol

as for disasterous messes, well that is the other best thing about great plans. ;)

I like when an enemy plan is becoming a disasterous messes, but first you got to know who his your real enemy...
 
I voted for board game neses. However I mod only story ones. Don;t have the patience for a good board game these days.
 
hmmmmmmmmm, what a choice.

Should i vote for story NESes, such as the kind RTOR is?

Or should i vote for board game NESes which i have hated ever since the first Never Ending Story for the fact that there really is no story?

I personnally believe the board games that people call NESes do not even deserve the title of Neverending Story, since it has no story. Plus the rules always prevent true stradedgy as all you can really say is "attack from so-and-so province to this other province." Where is the story there?

RTOR2, stJNES, and SKILORD's Absolution are REAL NESes, unlike the board games which are insults to stories.
