Hey all,

New version inbound. Mainly bugfixes and error corrections - no major new features here. Some bugs (ahem Conquistadors) were fairly game-breaking, however most are balance and/or cosmetic adjustments.

Fixed unit-related errors regarding cost, obsolete techs, combat strength, etc.
Adjusted free buildings from policies and traits to be tech and prereq-independent (i.e. free Harbors will be immediate, free Museums do not need Opera Houses, etc.).
Added LUA tooltip descriptions for yields (Piety Policy stuff, mainly) and culture changes to buildings (from policies) - all changes can be found in InfoToolTipInclude.lua
Fixed 'lack of era scaling' bug for GP expenditure (policies and beliefs)
Fixed Wheat not granting +1 food with farm
Fixed many text typos and bugs (lots)
Adjusted buildingyieldmods to not delete table (for mod compatibility - courtesy Skodkim)
Adjusted advanced spy actions to be slightly more rare, and introduced a greater chance that the event will go undetected.

Adjusted Tradition Policy Branch:

Tradition now grants +5% growth, and +3% growth per unlocked policy in all cities (instead of flat food bump)
Monarchy and Oligarchy policies flipped
Legalism requires both Oligarchy and Aristocracy
Aristocracy Wonder boost removed, added additional gold per city (+1)
Landed Elite food bumped to +2
Legalism grants +20% growth (down from 25)

Adjusted Piety Branch:

Monasticism now grants a free Monastery in your Capital when unlocked

Adjusted Liberty Branch:

Civil Engineers now grants +2 Production

New version online as of 11pm EST, 11/24.

Hi Gazebo. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but didn't the Patronage policies used to have beneficial impacts on the various Diplomatic Buildings & Wonders?

I've noticed that this no longer seems to be the case. Any reason why this is the case?

I buffed the patronage tree quite a bit, so I've removed the CSD-specific building buffs (for now). The happiness one was simply too strong (and didn't really mesh with the new happiness system), and the others were largely based on % yields, which I'm shying away from.

Patronage: enhances the benefits of City-State friendship and Global Diplomacy. Adopting Patronage will cause Influence with City-States to degrade 25% slower than normal and raise the resting point for Influence with all City-States by 5, with each subsequent Patronage policy you unlock increasing this by 3. Unlocks building the Forbidden Palace. Adopting all policies in the Patronage tree will cause allied City-States to occasionally gift you Great People. If using CSD, also grants Great Diplomat purchase with faith.

Philanthropy: Receive double Influence from Quests completed for City-States, and +10 Influence with all known City-States every time you expend a Great Person.

Consulates: Gain two additional votes in the World Congress, and the change of rigging elections in City-States is increased by 33%.

Scholasticism: All City-States which are Allies provide a Science bonus equal to 33% of what they produce for themselves. If using CSD, also grants +25% Great Diplomat production.

Cultural Diplomacy: Quantity of Resources gifted by City-States increased by 100%. Happiness from gifted Luxuries increased by 100%.

Merchant Confederacy: +3 Gold and +1 Influence (per turn) for each Trade Route with a City-State.

Ehm, I'm not really sure what you changed, but I'm getting 43 worldcongress votes for following the world religion. Feels somewhat gamebreaking.
