Beta 5 is a major update, with the addition of oil and defensive lines on the Europe 39-45 map.

But what I really want to test here is the "Fall of..." crash.

As I've said many times, the problem for me to fix it is that it never happens on my computer...

In this version, the "Fall of France" event on the Europe 39-45 map is done using coroutine in an attempt to fix the problem.

DISCLAIMER for the beta version:
- No installation support
- Use only the Europe 39-45 map to test the Fall of france event

I started a game with Greece. I didn't find any new bug until now (november 1940), but I still have to restart the game when war is declared to see my allies.
Once done, I was surprised to see so many units in France :crazyeye: (look at the screenshot). I didn't remember that allies were able to produce so many before.

My first impressions on this version are very good. I'm just wondering what concretly happens when the oil restriction occurs.

For some reason I am starting to think that the fall of france glitch is caused by performance problems.

Edit1: Gedemon can you tell me the exact DLCs you are using. Also I just wanted to mention I never had the fall of france bug till this version came out.

From your log I was assuming that the game was crashing when loading the save, it should be very different if it's a crash during the fall of France event.
 
you've passed the Fall of France event ?
 
Okay Gedemon I have been using an Ingame Editer to test the fall of france. I have been testing Version 37,38 and 39. I will provide logs after I tested all the versions. Also it seems that it doesnt work of any of the versions.
Also I once tested fall of france on of my own saves on v.39 without the editor and it crashed. I also tried using the editor to occupy all french cities and to my surprise when I captured paris then it worked without any issues.

Thank you, but don't bother with v.37-39, I only need the log from version 39 beta 5 (the one in the OP here), so I can know where exactly it crashes in the updated function using coroutine.

Yes, the Fall of France.
that's a good news, especially with a late test with a lot of units :)
 
Testing as of now. Will return results in 25 mins. If failed will post log.
Test Failed. Also Is there any way to attach files while editing?
 
Log as attachment. Also it seems to be getting further. Can you confirm this?

a bit further, but not as much as I hoped... far from it in fact. I'm not sure on what to try next.

(you can add attachment in the advanced edition screen BTW)
 
I dont really know how to compile I had a version that was already compiled.
But I can try following the instructions.
 
Also what do you need a DLL for? I dont really know anything about modding or what DLLs are, I only know a little Lua.

ok, I'll try a few other things first on my side.

could you just do two other things on your's please:
- post your savegame from just before the capture of France (on mediafire or other file hosting site)
- try with IGE disabled (you can set your configuratioon for capturing Parisn save , disable IGE in the mods menu and load your game without it) and post the crash log again
