Looks promising. When you add its icon, does it automatically convert it to DDS and give you the other sizes necessary as well?

Yes.
Upload any kind of pictures, and it will generate all the atlases you need.
Same thing for Xml files.
It's designed to be as user-friendly as it can be and to replace a big amount of the work currently done through modbuddy

Yes, this is good. I no longer have to resize everything 4 times for an icon atlas.

Does it generate icon sheets or individual icons. I prefer one file per icon personally as I tend to use an individual folder for each unit or building.

Are there options for file structure or is that done automaticly?

I don't have an ETA to give now. But the project is moving smoothly so you might try it next month.
Also first public version will only have building creation available.

What file formats are acceptable for the icon? I tried loading a simple .png image, but it just appears as a broken image link in the app itself. Does the image need to have certain dimensions or something to work?

Images should be under a certain size, I think it's 2 Mb (not sure, I need to check that). Can you give me the name and the size of the picture? (or maybe you can upload it somewhere?)

By the way, feedback is more than welcome, I know the app is not perfect and I can't trace all the bug by myself.

Edit: ok turns out png is not working right now. I am checking this.

Edit2: the issue with png format should be fixed now.

Strange, I tried loading a new test .png, but that didn't appear either. It was a solid yellow 160*160 square, surely that should theoretically work?

What was the name of your file? It plays a big role in the issue actually.
