Congratulations to the trophy winners and to all who played this game and participated in the discussions. Which were robust. This was the first of the easy games to be played on Emperor level. Its been years since we have had this level of submissions I'm happy to see that.

Special thanks to AlanH for keeping the submission system working. :goodjob:

I really enjoyed this game.

I'd never played OCC before which was fun although I kept thinking 'that would be a nice place for a city...' but at the same time not having to worry about when to fit in settlers and expand was nice.

I enjoyed it too, love OCC with perfect starts, just so much more relaxing, thx for the game :)

....so Ribannah didn't submit it seems?
Somehow I appreciate this, somehow I feel (slightly ;) ) bad about it.

She did write in the AAR thread and was a "close" 25 turns faster than me - hence the slightly bad feeling ;)

Don't feel too bad. There are several pros who will play but no longer submit. Since this is still a training series, these pros are likely not 'training' using GotM anymore, particularly in the easier diff games. I'm still happy that they post about their games though. The GotM staff appreciates that they dont submit much anymore. Those of us still learning can have the thrill of getting a medal!

Enjoy the win!

YAY! The first time I've managed to win a medal and I get gold! :D :trophy:

This is exciting. I knew trying to build all of the wonders would pay off for points. I didn't expect I'd have a shot at fastest victory time, so points was the goal.

Thank you GotM staff for a great game. I love OCC and with Babylon + awesome petra city it was extra fun.
