I mean, those that you think have realistic chances of appearing ;) that haven't yet been seen in any previous game of civ series.

Of course the choice I present in the poll is probably deeply imperfect, but no poll would ever include all interesting choices. These are civilisations I recall as popular demands of civ5 era.

EDIT
I did one mistake, Hittites were previously in civ (civ3). I cannot edit poll now, unfortunately.

More ancient-era civs: Sumer, the Hittites, Phoenicia, Judea at least. Also more Native American nations and at the very least the Mughals for India, and probably Champa or someone else from southeast Asia.

Sumer shouldn't be on this list - it was in Beyond the Sword.

Personally one of the Vietnamese or Burmese states (primarily Champa for the former and Pagan for the latter) would be my favoured choice, though Nubia is a good idea.

Mughals, Kongo, Mexico.

I'd love to see more mesoamericans, but to be honest they could (and should) be represented as City States, like Teotihuacan and Tlaxcala.

Voted for Tibet. Free tibet! o.o

And get the game banned in China?

Now that's just weird post you made. Why would it even be banned in China just because it have Tibet. Its an actual historical civilization that existed and still exists even when annexed forcibly by China.

Football Manager 2005 banned in China for having independent Tibet. Hearts of Iron banned in China for having independent Tibet even though it was independent at the game's time. So yes, if Civilization will have a Tibet civilization in it, the chances of ban in Chine are really high.

I wouldn't like to see the game mess in modern politics.

China's weird. And this is another easy problem to solve. Civ6 for everyone has Tibet. China Special Edition Civ6 = no Tibet in it.

Central Asia is kind of unexplored Civ terretory. For example, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia and Georgia are all legitimate empires which have never been in any Civ game.

Banning video games for various reasons is not uncommon. China does it more often than others, but the difference is not that dramatic, especially considering China is often portrayed as communist threat in many games.

I don't think special version is a good approach. Better not to provoke problems at all.

I fear 2K's desire to sell into the Chinese market will mean no Tibet.

I want Tibet.

FYI, pretty sure the Hittites made it into Civ3. They should be in Civ6 as their history is quite interesting and they were the source of the earliest known recorded peace treaty.
Their ommission in a diplomacy heavy game like Civ5 was a bit of a shocker to me.

I realize I am probably one of the only people who would care to see this after living in the Czech Republic for a spell...

But I think Charles IV as the leader of Bohemia would be pretty rad
