Alright! Another google work for you~

Which civilization like to Bath that requires their own district?
Is it Rome? Is it Harappa (India)? ^^

Communal bathing was an important part of life in lots of cultures. But besides the already mentioned Harappan -and Romans, the Greeks were quite fond of it too.

Of the known Civs it would make the most sense for Rome (though they are also known for their aqueducts which it would replace lol)

Although they're speculated to not be in the base game, Turkey/The Ottomans are well known for their baths as well

Just a theory, but if these are roman bath houses and they replace the aquaduct district, my guess is that they don't require an adjacent fresh water source to be built, or they are an additional district that provides amenities / growth and can act as an extra tile to connect your city and aquaduct allowing fresh water to be one tile further away.

It would make much more sense if it was an additional district like you suggest. I mean romans without aquaducts ...

Romans are famous for their aqueducts so I'd be surprised if that was replaced with bath for them.
I'd also expect the word thermae to be used instead if it was them.

To sum it up:

Rome:
++ They are most famous for their baths.
- This would likely mean Rome without Aqueduct or some weird setup.
- Not clear they aren't called "Thermae" - the game tends to use native names, especially those well-known.

Greece:
+ They've used baths too.
- They aren't as popular as Roman ones.

India:
+ They've used some cool baths as well.
-- They are even less known than Greece.
- India has UI (Stepwell), which makes it less likely to have unique district in addition.

Just because the district is called a bath, I don't see any reason why it should not also provide the normal aqueduct?

Of course it will provide fresh water bonus, but it will not be called aqueduct and unlikely to look like aqueduct. Which would mean what from any perspective except pure gameplay, it's not aqueduct.

They can have aquaduct graphics leading to the baths. on the same tile, or the baths graphics will replace the little buildings on the district tile and the aquaduct will still curve around them.

There is so much overthinking going on in this thread. Roman's are wildly famous for their baths. When you google historic baths, basically everything that comes up is about Roman baths. They spread baths through their empire. The town of bath that has been mentioned in this thread already is a RL bath district for Bristol as a city.

This is 99.9% a roman bath district.
